Hey guys.I think they should make a story mode on sk.And the board it is on should be a big board without elevators that go down to the next floor.Insetd they should make it gates where you paye 10 CE orME.And the gates should lead to the next part in the story line.

I'm pretty sure the mission system is as close to a story mode as Spiral Knights is going to get.

I don't think this game is as much like a story mode game.
Their recent missions update shows sort of how it will work: They will create content patch by patch that adds both P2P and F2P content. Their content is like FSC / Royal Jelly Palace, around 3 to 4 gates and then a boss gate, just like the did Snarbolax and Operation Crimson Hammer.
Personally, I kind of like it that way, but they just need to spice up the content they add. With it like this, they can focus more on how to make the monsters a good difficulty, and rooms challenging.

Cuurent mission are like this:
-Craft weapons for a random guy
-Deliver supplies to a random guy
-Help a random guy that is getting attacked
-Rescue a random guy
-Help a random guy kill a boss
-Recover something for a random guy
Seriously, your only difference is that you want to walk trhough gates instead of going down, wich breaks the point of the game: go down and find a way to open the core.
@Juances i ment like walking here and there around the board and seeing different people that you do little misons for.
Do you mean some sort of bounty board that players can make requests and set rewards for players who complete them? For example: Mission Description: I want FoV. Reward: 6k CE. Mission link: FSC Mission (Not yet released)
Another example: Mission Description: I want Antigua. Reward: 1k CE. Mission Link: Sovereign Slime.
If this is what you mean, then I can understand your suggestion. Otherwise you are saying instead of depths you want to load a single dungeon and go on through CE gates all the way to an ending.
If you mean for NPCs to randomly put some missions, similar to the missions examples I said, but not player based, then you are copying Prestige Missions, just with no foresight for the next days missions, and more then two a day.
Translating what you mean is very difficult, try saying it in a fashion that makes a little more sense. :P
Yes! you are correct Baodur you're examples are just what i was thinking! the i want something and in return you get paid quite hansomely
and also they should make a new type of missions that takes place in one dungeon/village
