We all know that heat is the experience points of this game, But what IS heat? energy from enemies? something else? is there anyobdy here that know what the dickens heat is ?

I'm the creator of the Clockworks, what I say is a fact!
All our equipment is made by a very special metal however it requires a special kind of heat dropped as the remains of monsters. The more heat our gear accumulates, the stronger the metal becomes. - the strength of the metal is classified by star level. - When the metal is at 0-2 star class, it doesn't require any additional heat to be upgraded.

Hens heat their eggs by incubating them with their ass.
Knights heat their weapons by incuba.......i mean killing monsters.
With FSC being the boss path to the Core one might presume the closer to the Core you get the hotter it gets. I suspect Vanaduke, being the obvious glutton that he is, powers a methane burner that heats all of FSC and the extremities of the clockworks. Fortunately, no matter how many times you kill the fat guy he reincarnates, otherwise we would all freeze to death.
