I've started creating games for my family and friends. I don't have HTML 5 for Gamemaker, though, so no embedding on DeviantArt. Sorry! Anyway, I asked on FaceBook, and no one answered, so, which game(s) should I make next?
1. Quest for Color & Quest, a Platforming/Top-Down View game hybrid, and a Top-Down View Game, respectively.
Quest for Color: The Color master has removed all color from the world, and it's up to you to get it back. Travel across 4 worlds (I'm new to platforming games, so it's gonna be short), upgrade your sword and gun to epic proportions, and battle formidable bosses.
Quest: Your Dark side has emerged once again, back from Maze 2, and this time he's determined to take over the world. Explore a huge overworld, socialize with the locals in towns, navigate perilous temples, and battle unique bosses that each have their own personal quirk.
2. Charlie's Hunt, a game where you play as my Aunt's cat, and you hunt cartoon mice. Featuring Hickup, my sister's cat, as Player 2 and the Shop Owner (you give him mouse parts to upgrade your abilities).
Charlie's Hunt: Your favorite person in the world (my Aunt) has kicked you out of the house for a couple hours to hunt for some cartoon mice (i.e. Mickey Mouse, Mighty Mouse, Jerry, etc.), so you better bring her back something satisfying!
3. The Interactive Bible: Book of Genesis, an Interactive Version of the Christian Bible. Turn pages and solve puzles related to the bible. One of a series, will be combined with the rest of the books once I've programmed them.
4. Righteous Quest, a Role-Playing Game where you... you know what? If you haven't played an RPG, either you're a book person, or you're new to the world.
Righteous Quest: Your best friend, Reggi, was assassinated. You have 24 hours to find a cure for him. Keep in mind that you have the Cryocide Virus (not real), which will cause you to freeze to death if you're gone from your house for more than 24 hours (Cryo = Ice + Cide = Death).
Quest for Color and Quest are the last in the MAZE series, which has, in total: Maze, Maze 2, Quest, and Quest for Color, in chronological order. Not Bloody, not gory, no swearing.
Charlie's Hunt is a single game, not in a series. Not bloody, not gory, no swear words.
Interactive Bible is a project suggested by my Guidance Counselor, and it's meant to bring the Bible to little kids who have to go to church and have some weirdo shove memory verses down their little throats. There will be one game per book, until there's one game for each book in the Bible. Then I'll combine all of them into one huge game. As far as I know, there's no gore or swearing in the Bible, so there won't be in the games, either.
Righteous Quest is in a series of several games, Righteous Quest 1-7. Each of the characters has one spin-off game. A quick-draw game for my swordsman, Sann (Sand minus d), a shoot 'em up/platformer hybrid for my gunner, Reggi (Reg, as in regular, + i), a Tower-Defense game for my archer, Terresa (Tear[rip in fabric] + ess + a), some sort of free for all melee for my mage, Harneva (Hard minus d, + never minus er + a), a Double Dragon style game for my ninja/fighter, Blajerin (Black minus ck + jeer minus one e + in), and a rock band-style game for my instrumental character, Anaecis (A + nay + sis). RQ #7 allows you to go on a quest playing with any of the six characters in your party, you can have only one of any of them, two of them, three of them, four of them, five of them, or all six, you get your choice of which character(s) you wanna have in your party. RQ series has blood and mild language (1 or 2 damns or hells) (in the T version) (in the E10+ version, no swearing or blood).
If you have a suggestion, let me know! I'm no good with art (unless it's hand drawn), or music, but I'm decent at programming.
Here's what you need to provide me with if you want me to make a game:
--Name of Game
--What you want to be called in the credits (otherwise I'll call you [Knight's name] on the Spiral Knights forum)
--What the game's about
--What category you want the game to be (RPG, Platformer, Fighter, Zelda-style, etc.)
--Whether you want blood, gore, or swearing in it, or none
--Art style (borrowed sprites, hand-drawn, computer, etc.)
--If hand-drawn, what style (block, gothic, standard, stick figures)
--Mood of the game
--If fighter, what characters you want in the game
--Music style (borrowed [I don't plan on making these official games rated by the ESRB], self-made, performed, clips, etc.)
--Any other info I didn't think of or other info you would like to add
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY MAKE SUGGESTED GAMES AFTER AT LEAST 2 OF THE ABOVE PROJECTS!!!!
All responses I will gratefully respond to, even if they are spam.
I like the game and all but i got a better way for fun. WE KEEP THE PVP ARENA BUT ADD 3 THINGS. Colosseum, no energy cost for colluseum, free use pvp: where you can pvp anywhere any time (except clockworks dungeons) and not waste energy or crowns and when you die, no energy needed just like in training room. and best part about that is people will always wanna pvp for videos they make. and 3rd thing is make it where you can find energy from special energy boxes and also when you use energy its only to revive yourself, parties, and unlock certaint doors as usual. the elevator should use crowns like 10 crowns per rider. Now that i think about it there should also be a monster meadow where you can fight weak monsters for crowns next to pvp arenas and dungeons. and you should be able to customize your own rooms like a little knight castle house...thing.lol anyways if you agree with me cool and lets hope they change the game with these ideas. also email me for edit to this post.
