Nielk1's Custom Characters and Items

So, I did this in my first night of Spiral Spy doodling. I've used the program before to look at things but this is the first time I used it for editing. I ended up duplicating several stock models and replacing their textures with customs. Note the custom armor, hood, and correctly mirrored saw blade on the left arm. The saw blades will look familiar to those who have the DLC, to those who don't... they hurt.
I call this the Knight Stalker.
Edit 1:
Here is my next submission, two tiers of Toxigel and Oiler based Jelly Mail.

I am tempted to attempt to program an importer for this format for 3DSMax (if one doesn't already exist) just so I can render full custom animation videos.

Stalker is the new freiddy( Cuse he gives me nightmares ) oh and im not much of a jelly fan (DIE JELLYS BURN IN SAILT ) but even i have to admit i love your work. Hay could you make a Lichen thiemed set? I suggest you use the Mercurial Mail set as a base.

The Oiler armors aren't black enough, IMO. But I think that if it was real I'd roll the Toxigel armor really fast, that green is nice

Knight stalker is awesome.
That's all I have to say, the sheer awesomeness just fried the rest of my vocabulary.

... but maybe I was thinking about doing so and got sidetracked or something.
Anyway, loving the dual-wielding saw blades. XD That would be pretty awesome to have, and I like the aethetics.
Jelly mail. however, is highly suspect ... O,o (Although very well done).

What's interesting is the weapon has a shield portion, so if such a thing was to make it in game, it could exist as a dual wield weapon, where it somehow occupied both the weapon and shield slot and you would still have a shield. Charging would probably fire off some saw blades and normal attacking some right left right left right left swinging. Swapping weapons would cause it to remain on both hands but simply not be used for attacking. You could also make the weapon take up two slots if you wanted to be a melee and gun instance.
Granted, such a thing would take some interesting special purpose code and would do best to be abstracted out for future weapons to use after. I currently cant think of any clean code that would allow for that but since I have not dug into any of how this game actually works aside from the models I wouldn't be able to make any evaluations anyway.
Of course, to have such a thing in game you could just make it a separate sword and shield and make the weapon's power increase and animations a tad different when used in combination with the matching shield.

I just realized that the shield over the saw blade is actually the shield in one of the lock-down sets. It was simply placed on the opposite hand and re-textured for the gremlins, thus the fact I mirrored it when I went to the left makes it technically upside down on both sides :O.
They should make a gun that shoots the saw blades that we can use. Looks good.
