My name is Crazywave im playing SK since Beta! and i just wanted to say That SK is Pointless to play!
i knew this new cr@p was going to happened eventually to Spiral Knights, i knew tree Rings did not care about the players and there request for more clockworks or new maps to explore... tree Rings just went for the money and did not care about the players at all.. its sow sad how this Grate RPG MMO game SPIRAL KNIGHTS that i use to Love and Play Every Single day of my life and every second of it and all for what..... look what it became now, the game was sow cool to play with all the FU@! Lag that is still happening, i was still play it anyway...
you had a mission, go down to clockworks and kill everything and get items and crowns and cool stuff and then sell stuff and buy new stuff and be cool and go back down to complete achievements and be the grates... but now... well a new CRAP! missions system and nothing more cool to do in SK clockworks. its all pointless... why! why this Crap have to happen to my Favorite RPG MMO that i love! well Lets see how long they will stay alive! in till everyone stop playing the game! Because if this new system and the Unbearable Lag that is happening since all these new updates and crap, its impossible to play for more than 30 minutes before all Hell Brakes Lose with the Lag!

It's not pointless if you enjoy it. It's pointless to you, but not to me or many others. I still like it. I haven't been around as long as you, but I've been here long enough to see all the changes, all of which haven't really been as bad as everyone says. Most people get tired of games with age, regardless of whether it changes or not, so I'd say part of your bias is just generally being tired of the game. You cant please everyone. Either OOO (or any other company) will get criticized for no innovation and not making gameplay feel fresh, or "too much change" which too many people are uncomfortable with. I like the mission system, I still like clockworks, I still like the story, I still like the art, and I still most systems within the game like LD even though some of it may need a bit of cleaning up in my opinion. I'll say it again. It's pointless to YOU, not me or my friends.

And I think the new mission system and the new expansion pack is pretty good and it can last for some time

@Cocosnake Just saying, OOo just gave the p2p players a kick in the balls with the DR nerf. Exclusive p2p content that people paid for.....and OOO makes it the second worst weapon in the game. Pretty stupid on their part.

The game isn't pointless. There's more of a point than ever, in fact. Missions encourage player investment in the story and setting, which, barring the rescue camp scenes, I found lacking beforehand. Now I feel like I'm part of a greater whole.
You might be troubled by the apparent obsolescence of the Arcade. In fact, I think that the Arcade offers more variety and adventure than running missions, and will continue to make use of it.
The constant push toward paying for content grates on my nerves a little; I'd prefer to earn rewards than buy them.
I am appalled by the English of ranters. Please go work on your English. Kindly write whole sentences, not run-on ones. Your text (I didn't even bother reading) was very jumbly. I could tell with just one look. And please stop writing in all caps. It just makes you sound like a loud idiot.
I'm definitely going to say you haven't been playing since Beta as there have been many changes (that from how you seem) would've left you running and crying months ago. I admit, I've only been here since November, and I am slightly p2p. If you don't like the new content, then get out, as others have said. You can't expect Three Rings to keep the game to everyone's liking all the time. There are people who will q.q no matter what changes occur. Also, what the heck does Three Rings really have to with lag, it's based on your own server, don't blame your poor internet on a company that's supposedly been giving you entertainment for a while. They have the right to make part of it paid, it might not rest well with some, but I don't see personally that what they did is too wrong. Nick mentioned about the DLC possibly being able to be traded eventually, besides on Steam.
