Jk so I think the iron slug looks epic but it seems that the callahan might be more useful. Any personal experiences? Just want to know which i should get

I'd recommend callahan, to have something to use against devilites.
Faust takes jellies and gremlins. Fireburst takes constructs and undeads. A calla will be able to take beasts and devilites relatively easy, even though the overall dps is not good.
Greavers will tear you apart. But that's just greavers doing what they usually do.

Normal's not totally useless. On average, normal guns do more damage on neutral targets than the non-normal branch. But right now, the only thing the iron slug is better at than Callahan and still worth using on is flinch-locking gremlins, at least until the next patch. Oh, and it doesn't stun.

It's really pointless to use normal weapons, since you have 2 slots by default, and as long as you don't have two weapons of the same type, you will AT WORST have neutral type matchups with all enemies.

Even when le Slug gets buffed
Even when le Slug gets buffed - against what do you use this kind of medicore dps gun? Just Devilites, Greavers and Wolvers. All that are weak to piercing. Everything else can be attacked with high DpS guns. Well gremlins maybe - but 3:1 - just get that Callahan :D
Piercing or normal damage. What are your intended targets.
