Can we have the option to skip them if we already have the Recon Module for them? Just about every other mission can be reasonably solo'ed (even the Fiend & CandleStick Keep ones) but with these missions you're essentially forced to Group, but actually FINDING a group for them is near impossible even for the popular bosses like the Royal Jelly, let alone the unpopular ones like the Roarmulus Twins (aka. the boss nobody cares about)

(Yes I may be asking for this for selfish reasons but unless something like this is implemented or a miracle happens I'm going to be stuck at Rank 6 forever and if I hear one more comment about how awesome "insert rank 7 or above mission here" is then I'm going to kill someone.)

What..... every boss is perfectly solo-able.

In fact, i think Twins and Jelly are easier than a normal, regular T3 level, so if you fail there, you will fail in 7+ rank missions too.

What Juances said.

The only boss that is difficult to solo is Vanaduke.

And if you can solo him, well, you're doing pretty good.

You guys are clearly better players than I am then...

Only boss I've ever soloed is Snarby, though admittedly I haven't really tried soloing any of the others (doubt I could solo Twins/RJ with just bombs.)

Twins will be hard with ONLY bombs, but everyone should have a sidearm outisde of their preferred class.

Soloing with bombs only or swords only is a mistake that puts you in unnecesary danger and overcomplicates simple tasks like hitting a switch.

Thats your problem.

uhhm

couldnt you just...... *looks left ad right hesitantly* ... do it once.. ? i mean its basically "pay 30 energy to get past this , only getting around 2000 cr" .. its not like its going to make or break your future in SK

i havent played the other missions yet, but im sure theyre worth having to play the roarmulus twins ONCE

@Verodius:

I would say take a Dark Retribution and solo JK in a whole 30 seconds but I'm not sure how effective it is now.

Roarmulus is impossible to solo with bombs, you can't hit the switches. You at least need a 1* gun/sword to switch the walls.

EDIT: @V--- I know right? This guy will get plenty of advice, anyway.

a) I've actually done Royal

a) I've actually done Royal Jelly, I was just using him as an example.

b) I don't have the expansion DLC, if I did I'd have better things to do than these missions.

c) I do actually have a sidearm, but it's a Pepperbox so how good it will actually be for the fast switch triggering the Twins require is debatable

d) 30 energy assuming I don't die. and that's a pretty big goddamn "if" given the nature of IMF

@Verodius:

A pepperbox is better than a bomb, but still not very good...a mobile gun like an Antigua is optimal, but even a Zapper works just fine.

Besides, you can always get someone to help you out. One of your friends, perhaps. Just have one person on Scuttlebots and the other on Switches and he's an easy 2-man.

Its not our or the developers fault if you got a bad sidearm, but i'm sure one mission must have given you a blaster(or at least a recipe).
It will work perfectly.

But also, true friends/guildmates should have helped you. :/

I don't really have the money

I don't really have the money (or recipies) to buy/make another gun (and I don't fancy taking on the Twins with a goddamn Proto Gun), everything I have right now is going to getting my existing stuff to 5-star

(and my friends/guildies are all either never on, always busy doing something else or too low a tier to help.)

Also where did I blame you or the developers for my choice of gun?

@Verodius:

I'm pretty sure you've gotten weapons from the Missions for free, besides a Proto Gun. Don't you have to craft some specifically for a mission anyway?

If you're used to using a bomb to kill RT anyway, I don't see why what gun you use to switch the switches would matter. It's not like you're shooting RT with them.
