Purpose and Description of Suggestion:
Create and implement a "Clear UV ticket" on Punch; which allows you to remove all UVs on the designated equipment for free or for a small cost (OOO might as well make it a small crown sink to help the ce market).

This suggestion, if implemented, will overall benefit SK players who like to have their equipment neat, tidy and uncluttered by unnecessary UVs.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

It would be much easier to understand my suggestion if we had a scenario: Lets say that...

You want a particular helmet to have some accessories [FOR THE PURPOSE OF BEING A HELMET COSTUME AND NOTHING ELSE]... ok we'll make it brand new Chaos Cowl with a prismatic headband and a prismatic helm guards. And so you get on with the job in finding recipes, crafting the magic hood, transmuting it into elemental hood, heating it up and transmuting it again into miracle hood. You just got the Chaos Cowl recipe and you have the ce/heat/cr/mats to make it a Chaos Cowl and therefore being able to put them accessories on it...

You transmute it into Choas Cowl and... you get UVs; lets say you get 2 UVs, curse high and piercing low. At first you think: "nice, 2 UVs!", but then you notice that:

1. The curse resistance is at a positive value of low (because negative med + positive high = positive low) and therefore is not visually aligned with the other negative status resists.

2. The description box is now vertically longer than usual; due to the added bar that shows low piercing defence and the two goldern bars that say curse high and piercing low.

So these description/graphical additions to the Chaos Cowl doesn't really bother you at all at that instance, because you're excited in adding the accessories to the helm costume and flaunting your new helm costume to all your friends. You added the accessories and showed off. Thats nice.

A few hypothetical days pass...

Now, everytime you open up your character profile to change weapons/armor/shield and your mouse passed through the icon of the helm costume (Chao Cowl). BAM. You get hit by this huge description box that almost covers the whole entire character profile. At first, you just find it slightly annoying, but you find the effort to just ignore it. But after a while, it really starts to get on your nerve, you really wished that you haven't those two UVs and you wished that there was a way to remove them.

And there is. When the equipment with a UV is 4* or below, you can uncheck the option to carry the UV before transmuting it into the next star equipment and therefore be able to remove it. But Chaos Cowl is 5* and therefore there is no further transmuting and ultimately no way to uncheck the UV carrying.

This really annoys you. And you want to sell your Chaos Cowl and start again. But you can't, because the helm has prismatic accessories (aka fking expensive accessories).

Your urge to remove those UVs are boiling all over your head. But you can't do anything to remove it.

/scenario end.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Implementing this suggestion is fairly simple, there is a similar process that exist already - the accessories removal process. (Whereby all the accessories are removed and any UVs on the equipment remain intact)

So to clear all the UVs on a particular equipment and leave the accessories intact would just be the opposite process of the accessories removal.

/EZ and simple.

... to be honest, sounds completely useless :/
Can two UV's really bother you that much..?
But maybe an option to sell your UV's would be nice.
Like if you pay 20,000 and get a useless UV like damge bonus : slime, you can sell it for 1000?
but that would be a crown pump... inflating the price of CE even more :/

I don't much like having UVs on "Costume" Gear. Kinda Pointless.

    +1 to that,

Its SO annoying when you roll multiple UVS and only 1 is worth anything and rest are just lying there, useless, on your sight, and you cant do anything. They are just there, hurting your eyes.

This sounds a bit like an extreme case though. You could request that a GM remove them for you.

...why would you want to REMOVE a UV? I mean, it can only help you. There is no other way for it to do anything. It only helps. That's it. Idk why you would want to remove that.

@Aemicus : He was only planning on using it for a costume, so the UV is worthless. I don't see how it can hurt that much when scrolling over it, but it might be nice to get rid of them. Nothing major, though.

I would kinda like it if i made an item, got a useless UV and could sell the UV off it for 1000, though.

*ZxeroAdvent is confused by this logic*

I don't understand how having a UV is all that bad, even if its "useless" or on costume gear.

I suppose... I'm not against it. I'm sure it would make some people feel better. I think selling UVs would be a better approach though...

No no. Not the actual gear Iron, The UV itself. Instead of losing money after Using punch, you can get a little back. Perhaps they can add a new gremlin to the duo that specializes in buying the UVs. Not sure how it would work, but It sure is better than being left with nothing imo.

1000 isn't to much to ask for

1000 isn't to much to ask for after paying 20,000 and getting a useless UV. It's still a lose of 19,000 cr if you get a crappy UV of damage bonus slime : low
