Finally finished heating my Ash Tail set and was wondering if I should go full Vog Cub, or split it with Snarbolax. I've got a Vog Cub hat with Shadow Defense Maximum and I'm trying to decide if I need more shadow defense. Not to mention the sword damage boost is nice as well. Going to be using Barbarous Thorn Shield too, for the record.

Snarbolax requires shadow lair materials and completion to be able to be crafted. Shadow defence is always good, since kats and fiends are some of the tougher enemies in the game.
You also have the option of crafting a skolver, which gives piercing, damage med, and freeze resist.
