He and I were playing Spiral Knights, and just as he was about to close a pop up showed up telling him to create an account, because after he had downloaded the game it had left him create an avatar and play without then need of creating an account.

Though Maintainence interuppted this, and he wasn't able to finish off in creating his knight.
His Knight was named Link-Kd.

I'd like to know if he could still retreive this knight and play it, or is it deleted forever?

EDIT:
He acquired 12k Crowns during this trial.
Which is why he would like to retreive the account.

I guess deleted forever, but can create it again. I dont think he'd advanced too far, plus the maintenance restart warning is long enough to avoid these problems.

so we do realize the character is already deleted...it was deleted due to the guest-login system plus an unlucky maintance...

the most unlucky part of it all was that the character was received 12k crowns worth of stuff...and it was all lost

these 12k crowns stuff came from me and a fellow player

so what we wanted to ask is if a GM is able to check within the server's data three things:

1 - the fact such a character was existed (with the "Link-Kd" nickname)

2 - the fact he was given the crowns and equips (one Brandish and on Flourish, besides the crown...specifically)

3 - the fact the character was deleted once server reboot for maintance started

my friend had no idea the character would be deleted if he didn't leave the server before the maintance...so right after maintance started it was like... "poof, gone"

well the character was deleted once yesterday's/today's (depends on timezone) maintance started...and it was probably created a few hours before the maintance (around 2~3)

this should help finding this data in the server archives I guess...

well if a GM could check on this issue and verify the truth of all this fact...I'd like to know if it's possible for us to be given such loot back

There'as at least a 45 minutes warning lol. Why wait to the last second to crate it? And you can get everythign again in 2-3 horus. Really its not a big loss, no need to waste GMs time.

Anyways, they'll never read your post here, you have to contact them via mail if you want them to check your situation.

giving someone on a guest-login bunch of stuff, shortly before scheduled maintenance? Not a great idea. . . .
