The two guns do completely different things.
Argent Peacemaker is excellent for taking down zombie adds as well as pretty much everything that isn't a trojan on the way to Vanaduke. For Vanaduke himself, the Blitz Needle is far more effective, but if you're on slag duty, the AP gives much more mobility.

Argent now does sucky damage,
Argent now does sucky damage, with 2 true eliteshots you will do only 67 damage with each bullet to vana.

just another note...
Blitz is also excellent weapon for killing zombie. One charge could one-shot or deal enough damage that you just need to poke it a bit more.

AP is useless now.
Blitz is better solo, and as team.
