It would be really nice to have an ignore button for other users on the forum, so that we could just stop seeing posts from the blatant trolls. It would be even nicer to have a little counter next to the name on each person's posts, showing how many people had ignored them, so that new users would have some warning that someone was a blatant troll and possibly not get sucked in.

But that's going to be terrible.

The issue here is that you yourself are refusing to not read their posts or just plain ignore them.

It is like you as a person have no self control and are saying this responsibility is that of the community, to censor itself in your presence.

People won't just ignore trolls, they'll ignore anyone or thing they don't like.

I could ignore you, thinking what you are saying is silly, and in the future you and your opinions will never be seen again, I'll forget you've even existed.

It is my opinion that if you aren't man enough to handle a person on the internet or his opinions, than you aren't fit for the world at all. What are you going to do, tell the president to censor individuals?

At least there is a possibility to have it done online, but it will not help you, or anyone else.

Most of the trolls on this forum, to me, are a bunch of kids, using primitive tactics in which to anger the not so secure individuals who are weak and fragile when exposed to things they can't control.

Lets not be so ignorant as to think they are only here, they are everywhere, they are you, they are me, anyone and everyone who has an opinion is a troll because someone won't agree with it and take it like a child and cry to someone for action.

TL;DR?

TLDR: Man up and ignore manually.

(Besides, if you know they're trolls why bother? If I was trolling around here I'd be giggling about now. And there's already the forums rules. If they are generally annoying and not helpful they'd be banned.)

Agreeing with bsjhepo. Ignore

Agreeing with bsjhepo.

Ignore buttons create more problems in the long run. Maybe a separate forum for energy, though: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/4653
