First off let me say I have read http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1948293 so please do not quote “You will no longer be able to log into the game using your web account, but you may still use it to access the forums and wiki. “. I was one of the individuals who actually signed up through Steam just to see what the game was about. Now that I find myself playing more often I find myself in need of a more universal means of logging into the game as the game itself is rather accessible. A sort of “Master Account” would work perfectly.

For example: being military I tend to travel so I find myself, a) using a computer at a cafe, b) a friends place, c) dorm gaming room, d) (being married) in-laws. It is very inconvenient to load the game, select sign in through Facebook, page loads – select sign in through Steam, now log into Steam, wait for the email, verify my account, wait for redirect page, now I can play. Rather, simply being able to input my email address and a password and have my account associated with either Facebook/Steam or the homepage/depot would be much more effective.

If it is an agreement for payment method, the user should be allowed to select which “Wallet” he/she would like to use. I personally do have some funds on Facebook as well as Steam, if I had a master account I should be allowed to simply select “Pay With Steam,” “Pay With Facebook,” or “Pay With Depot.” Then set a default means of adding/transferring funds.

Finally, as OOO does operate multiple games, this could be a means for users of other OOO titles to have fewer passwords and user names to remember. At least as far as I am aware this isn't already an option. I understand some agreements are made when you partner with Steam/Facebook, but if there is any means of bringing this altogether it would be appreciated. At least I assume I'm not the only one who has a general need for this.

As a side note: I did email this suggestion to support first; however, support suggested that I instead post this here to see what other users thought about the idea.
