Guild Questions
Okay I have been interested in making a guild, and am planning on doing so, but first I have a few questions to calm my raging excitement...
1) Guild Member Rankings - How do these work? Can you make a finite amount of custom ranks with custom names or are they all predefined? Are there certain capabilities for certain ranks? Etc...
2) Guild Member Status Updates - I'm not even sure what this means... can anyone clarify?
3) Guild Member Chat Channel - I think this is fairly self-explanatory. I'm guessing it's /macro command. Are there any quirks with this?
4) Personal Guild Hall - This sounds interesting... but is it? Is it like a personal gate or something? Maybe just a special zone?
5) Private Guild Shop - Does this mean a shop that only guild members can use and put items in to, or a predefined NPC shop that only people in guilds can access, or...? o_o
6) Guild Master Passing - See this thread.
7) Other Stuff - Just other things that might be interesting about guilds - maybe what the guild page on the social panel looks like, guild capacity and how one might (if possible) heighten that limit, etc...
Thanks for any information!
I think there's also an officer chat channel, too.
It's /o or /officer.
Here's a list of the rest of the chat commands:

And for no reason at all, here are all the emotes... Wheee!
1. Guild member rankings are within-guild only, with order master>officer>veteran>member>recruit in the guild i'm in. the "higher ups" can invite and promote lower-ranking members in the guild.
2. The only guild status updates are when a guildie logged on/off
3. command is /g, which all guildies will see as a green text. /o can be sent by officers+ to other officers+
4. Each guild has their own guild hall, which can be accessed through the guild tab in the "social" button. They're personal maps for each guilds, and can be accessed from anywhere (idk bout inside gates tho)
5. there are NPC's in the hall that sells energy things, but the "personal" shop is the trinket seller, which you have to buy a slot for which costs 150 energy
6. see the thread you mentioned :P
7. haven't heard of guild member limits yet..
Alright, thanks for the info everyone!
@Blackhawke: Branching from my other thread: I'm guessing that if there is only one guild master then they cannot leave the guild at all? Also, can Guild Masters boot/de-rank other Guild Masters? This is where I'm still a bit confused... I mean, if it were so then it would make sense but be pretty weird; you'd need a lot of trust to give someone else that status. If this weren't the case, then there must be some sort of unique "Founder" status hidden behind the original "Guild Master". o_O
Nope, i've seen 1 member guilds (only got GM, no members) quit their guild, so i'm guessing if there's no leader it either goes to the next highest rank or the guild disbands.
1) As of now, they're all predefined. Not sure what the rankings do, other than allow players to invite and promote other players. Actually, I think that's all they do.
2) I am not aware of any form of status updates within the game, beyond the logging on and off notifications you occasionally see among the sea of loot notifications.
3) It's /g. It just appears as a different colour to other text and only Guildmates can see it. I think there's also an officer chat channel, too.
4) Yeah, it's a special area. From now on, it will be formally known as the G-spot. You can travel to your Guild's G-spot through the Guild Menu.
5) It's a shop in the G-spot that sells items you can only obtain from inside the guildhall. Specifically, awesomely powerful trinkets.
