Ok, so I played SK for awhile. Stopped like 6 months ago I think and I log on today and all the new content is blowing my mind. When I quit playing there was no PVP whatsoever. The giant robo dogs were just added and skolver armor was the bomb. What do I need to know to get back in this thing?

Recipes can now be obtained as free rewards from missions. Don't buy the standard (Cobalt line etc.) recipes since they are now free rewards.
Also, Strike Needle, Shadow Driver and Plasma Capacitor are rewards for missions.
Also also, recipe trading is pretty much dead.
Missions are basically short dungeon runs and best way to get CR is to do the Arena missions repeatedly.
CE prices are stupidly high.
We have two PvP games, Blast Network and Lockdown.
Much bawwwing took place with regards to P2P missions being released, featuring pretty damn awesome armour and that hat that gunners have been wanting for a while. Unfortunately it binds upon crafting no matter what you do.
Antigua upgrade lines are now pure damage.
Autogun lines now do pushback instead of their previous vacuum effect.
Brandish lines have taken a serious buff (apart from Cautery which sucks).
That's... about all the important stuff I can think of.
@Aureate: "Unfortunately it binds upon crafting no matter what you do."
It can still be unbound, unlike the new sword and bomb.
Nothing has changed in terms of basic gameplay, except that now we have hotkeys for each weapon slot and arsenal stations to change armor inside the clockworks.
Ya, we get new flashy levels and stuff, but the game plays the same way.
