At the moment I've generally been tired of people believing the entire fight is a randomly generated waiting game until you can get out of phase2. You can do twins in under 3 minutes EVERY TIME.

This video will show several things....
Show you how you can 100% of the time go from phase 1 to phase 3 EXTREMELY FAST.
A couple added tips of phase 3+
An example of a speed run
Some tips on how if someone dedicated more time, they could pull of a 60 second win.
A bonus clip of how to remove the luck factor from Snarbolax too...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01RVUV_ScVE

I've only attempted speed runs while farming for a pulsar, a catalyzer and the quicksilver helm and chestpiece but still achieved more than 16 runs under 3 minutes and 8 runs under 2 minutes 20 seconds.

nice tip off the start, I

nice tip off the start, I didn't realize that was possible. Don't know how easy it would be to pull off with a group of 3 or 4. I knew about sending rockets down the middle every time though, but it is a good tip to spread. In general, I just let every rocket through regardless of location (prioritizing the center) often hitting both sides at the same time.

Also, you left out one tip that can be handy. You can still hit them with rockets when they are firing their lasers. Most people focus on dodging the lasers. My policy is to just suck up the damage and deal or be really fast on dodging lasers. It really speeds things up if you are playing with a PUG that doesn't know how to beat the twins.

As a final note, sitting around waiting for the first moving twin to line up with the non-moving twin isn't really that bad. You should take 0 damage at this point and is just a waste of time. Just stay in one place behind a wall (that shouldn't be going up and down) and kill any scuttlebots that wander by.

Nice job. Didn't make the connection that middle row missles almost always hit before. Anyone know how well the Pepperbox branch works for these chunks?

@Aylnine

Thanks. Alot of people told me it wouldn't work, so I had to try it out. This also works on the Rabid Snarbolax (In the shadow lair).

@Nordlead - I tried to concentrate the information most important to killing twins quickly. Think of this guide as an Intermediate Guide. My beginner guides were created around 5 months ago in my 2* gear (to demonstrate a clean kill with minimal gear).

Holy balls, I never knew that

Holy balls, I never knew that trick for phase 1. Thanks a lot :D

The Roarmulus twins in my opinion are the only things preventing the idiots from t2 who don't understand what "Don't walk into lasers" "Missiles will hurt you" "Don't mess with the switches" and "Wait until the twins hit each other with missiles" mean.

I know what you mean...its the primary reason for making this video...Because before I figured this out (5 months ago), phase 2 was a luck based waiting game.

@Owaoforum
Imagine if the vortex worked on the Twins...

Very handy, I just did my first IMF run (and solo) yesterday since once trying it with a friend and not even getting past the level before the twins. Now I just have to practice actually hitting the switches on time. :D

IMF is a good place to start soloing Tier 2. The area depends more on how you position yourself and time things rather than gear (2* gear is sufficent). If you are doing royal jelly for the first time, going with your friend, 2* piercing armor and a 4* weapon is more than enough to learn that fight.

Yeah, I used a magic hood and a dusker suit, tempered calibur (for knockback and so it would work vs. both constructs and grems), pris alch mk, and fiery vaporizer mk. I think a a magic cloak would work better, but I since I didn't have a heated one, I used dusker for more health and normal defense, along with the sword bonus. The bomb did help a couple times, but I'll probably use my fireburst (once heated) and my nightblade with the pris alch instead next time.

While I can solo it now, I think I would prefer to do it with one other person, so one can flip switches while the other distracts enemies--like when you have to flip barriers to make rockets destroy blocks while constructs keep spawning. It would be a lot faster, and since I'm pretty sure the main reason for doing this boss is for the boss tokens, not for mats, you don't have to split as much stuff.

I have done JK at least four times, all in groups. Since the others are often swordies, last time I used nightblade, fiery vap mk, prismatech, demo helm, dusker suit, which seems to work well. I did find a silent nightblade recipe in one of my last Basil runs (I do them for 3* recipes for my alts to use b/c the recipes are tradeable), so I'll probably upgrade that.
