Every time I see a special offer advertised, like the present explorer kit and elevator pass, the prices they advertise are wrong.
For example
The current elevator pass says "Explore unlimited levels for $5.95", look at price and it's $7.14
The explorer pack says "$14.95! A $25 Value!", price is $17.94
This is a 20% mark up on the advertised price in both cases! Isn't there some law against false advertising?
1) I was looking at the us$ prices, they are the default in any country
3) The "but now" price appears before you select payment method so is independent of this
But thank you for the input of point 2, I didn't realise that VAT was not included in the advertised price
omg those taxes are so stupid, even in internet games.
Authorities ripping people off on every step.
I'm pretty sure those authorities create infrastructure that allow you to complain about them on the internet.
To put it in SK terms, elevator fees power the elevators that you use.
1) you may be looking at US$ advertising and trying to purchase with canadian dollars (or other foreign currency)
2) their advertisement does not include any taxes (VAT) (likely since VAT is ~20% in a lot of countries)
3) You are using a payment method that adds an extra fee. (I believe cell phone payment add a fee)
Since you didn't provide any useful information, I must assume it is one of the 3 above.
