The client occasionally freezes, which causes my whole computer to become unresponsive for several minutes.
The following is a timeline of the symptoms that occur:
- The client displays two video frames alternately at a very fast rate for a few seconds.
- The whole (computer) screen freezes, and the mouse and keyboard become unresponsive. The client's background music continues to play.
- After several minutes, the computer becomes responsive again, and client returns to the log in screen.
On one occasion, the computer didn't become responsive again, even after I issued a forced shutdown using SSH, and I had to forcibly turn the computer off by holding the power button down.
The only pattern to the freezes that I've noticed is that they only occur while my character is in the Clockworks.
I don't play through Steam.

Yesterday the problem occurred again in the Royal Jelly Palace. However, on this occasion the client only froze for several seconds, and some graphics became distorted until I either returned to Haven or restarted the client (I'm not sure which).
