What does it mean that T3 depth do only "non-normal" damage?

i know that T1 only doing pure normal from mobs

T2 split the damage to half half

so... since T3 only doing non-normal dmg as wiki said

does that mean u dont need normal defence in T3 depth ?

I guess it's complicated: If

I guess it's complicated: If a mob deals 50% normal and 50% shadow damage...
... in T1 it would deal 100% normal
... in T2 it would deal 75% normal and 25% shadow
... in T3 it would deal 50% normal and 50% shadow like it's in it's stats.

You still need normal def :)

I'm not sure about this, but I know that there are still normal hitting mobs. Any ideas ? :s

Nah, some mobs still like to

Nah, some mobs still like to do normal damage in T3, mostly heavy mobs like lumbers and Trojans, though. You can scour the wiki for more examples, but you really don't have a lot of choice in non-normal defense, just divine and scale. Stuff like gremlin buzzsaws and bombs will still be normal.

Abathur almost had it

Normal applies only on *some* attacks in T3. As in things like Trolljan smash and all. Split STILL occurs but with a HIGHER ratio of special damage to normal. Pure occurs on things such as gun puppy bullets, Trolljan attack buffs, and jelly smacks.

So you still need normal defense.
