If I create a second knight for my friend to try the DLC, will he be able to log into the second knight while I'm playing on the first knight?

also no, i dont recall ANY game which you can login twice in same account to use 2 different characters.
Sharing accounts is not allowed by the ToS, if I remember correctly.
One of the 3 accounts on a knight? No.
