As we all know, CE is at an insane high, and many have blamed the FSC for this. However, backtracking further, i realized a slight jump when it became possible to obtain operation crimson hammer, via CE trade using steam.

And now that word has spread, it has become apparent that people are demanding so much CE to obtain somthing, in a way that was never meant to be in the first place.

Now, being one who paid the discount price for OCH, i'm not upset, but i do feel baited.

Please, stop the ability to obtain OCH or any DLC in this manner, it's catering to unnecessary supply and demand.

1. You are late to the trading party. I think, 4-5 pages back?

2. Steam trade is the only way to effectively trade DLC. Removing it will make f2p unhappy.

3. Not intended? OOO intended for the DLC to be tradeable on steam. Not sure what you are smoking but okay.

If that was true, then why ws

If that was true, then why ws it not advertised?

Its a cheap gimmick from steam so people who paid, are getting ripped off.

It was advertised. Why do you

It was advertised. Why do you think there was so much forum rage that the dlc wasn't tradeable on the standalone client.

How are you cheated? You paid five ollars for it. On the site, thats around 1500ce. Have you seen the prices they're traded at? 3k was a norm. You make profit.

Unfounded rage hidden behind ce talk. -1

No, i paid the discount

No, i paid the discount version. 5 was too lulzy.

If it was CLEARLY advertised, i wouldn't have to have paid a dime. But oh well. Mainly cheated because they slowed the bomb to a crawl. Damage nerf i agree with, speed nerf, wtf lame

Most unconvincing explanation ever.

Every time a player wants to grind KoA for that sweet 12kcr, 40 CE gets burned. And players never stop wanting to grind KoA.

Every time a player unbinds a 5*, that's 4k CE burned.

Every time a player crafts, etc.

The DLC, on the other hand, burns no CE. It trades for 3k CE (which you only need once), and where does that CE go? Into the pocket of another player, who now has a reduced need for CE.

Your explanation is nonsense.

How exactly is that being

How exactly is that being cheated? You made a conscious decision to purchase the DLC. Were you forced to buy it for real money? No, you were just painfully ignorant of the fact that the mission pack could be steam traded. You chose to buy it, so suck it up.

Edit
@Derpules: That reminds me of that thread Chris started a while back..."when a player buys an accessory for 60k CE and binds it to himself, 60k CE was burned" lmfao.

That CE goes to another

That CE goes to another player, they resell at a jacked up price, keeps getting more dlc , keeps selling higher.

Or did you not understand THAT simple explanation?

"That CE goes to another player, they resell at a jacked up price, keeps getting more dlc , keeps selling higher."

You make it sound like there are lots of players who attempt to manipulate the market in such a manner...

I don't particularly appreciate conspiracy theories.

Proportion, man

What, do you think there's infinite demand for DLC packs? Even if, in an outlandish scenario, a single player was buying and reselling every single DLC pack in existence (i.e. no one other than that one player bought the DLC with real money) for 3k CE, the added CE requirement would be a mere 3k CE per player, and it would be a one-time thing. That's a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of CE burned per player on an ongoing basis on missions, crafting, unbinding, and boost items.

BTW, I have been trying to sell this one pack for 3k CE for a few days now. No takers. I'm not seeing this insatiable demand for DLC of which you speak. . . .

I'd wager that by now, most players who want the DLC (and are on steam, i.e. able to actually buy it with CE) have got their copy. Hardly anyone is frantically buying CE with crowns expressly for this purpose.

What?

I suppose then it's safe to assume that since I have a few friends IRL at school now, there are actually a couple of pedophilic hobos camping out in my neighbor's back yard.

People are not so easily judged.

EDIT:
Hey, Durpules, I think I may have an interested buyer, but he may want to revise your price offer.
Mail him. His name is Scrolax, but You'll probably have to bargain with him.

Damienfoxy is trufax gais.

Damienfoxy is trufax gais. Words from god himself. Brb, flipping another 50 dlc packs for profit.

On a more serious note. I had perfectly derailed this thread by post #3. Then people came and commented.

/sigh

If I got 3K CE, I would be crafting my 5* gear. That or trading it for a Blackened Crest.

I blame people panicking over nothing.

Not only have I not ever seen

Not only have I not ever seen anyone or heard of anyone doing that, Damienfoxy, but your "simple explanation" is wrong on so many levels.

Look, you're upset because you paid $4 for the DLC, rather than $10 worth of CE. That's fine if you feel upset about it, but the DLC is not responsible for the massive increase in CE prices. The increase is due to the high crown payout in the King of Ashes mission, coupled with the lack of a CE sale. CE is entering the game at the same rate as before, and Crowns are entering the game at a much faster rate, leading to a decrease in the value of Crowns, which naturally increases the amount of Crowns it costs to buy CE. Only when the rates are adjusted will the price go back down.

Also, if you bought it on Steam, you should have known already that you could buy it via Steam Trade. Did you not see the "buy as a gift" option when you paid for it? It's neither the fault of Three Rings or Valve if you didn't read the small amount of text on the page before clicking through.

Foxy, please stop infecting

Foxy, please stop infecting forum with your silly snd unlogical posts, spreading nonsenses all over forum, you started in fsc topic now made your own, please keep your nonsenses in one place.

Ps. Operation crimson hammer was advertised as tradeable within steam from very beginnin, and what you say about jacking up prices by ce buyers is complete nonsense, you want to completly make ce untradeable? Since everyone who buys ce can wait and sell it for higher....
