Well if u have a two star armor and it has a uv, so when u upgrade it to three star is the uv still there?
When ur two star armor has no uv and u upgrade it to three star, will there be a chance in getting uv?

There is a box you can check (it's auto-checked, but make sure) for keeping a uv that is on something when you alchemize it. If you deselect it, you will not keep that uv, and will then just have the very low chance of a random uv as with any crafting.
P.S. Always check to make sure you are using the correct weapon to upgrade if you have more than one of that specific weapon or armor. >_>
