The party system was almost impossible to work out since I had to figure it out myself. I also had difficutly getting in a party with someone who was playing right next to me!!!!!
Fix it, and add an in-game tutorial about it, don't you all agree?

You should add more details on what is giving you trouble.
To add another person to a party, you should add them as a friend and then enter the instance with a new party using the "start a party" toggle. When you enter, you can click the other player in the social menu to invite them, or they can click you and join you. Either way works. You should make it clear beforehand who will start the party and who will join after, as two players entering the dungeon through the menu are likely to end up in different parties. The dungeons are typically not designed for players to make the party prior to entry, and I can see how this would be confusing for a new player who is used to a WoW style instance system.
What other aspects of the party system do you not understand, or feel is broken? Include things you have tried to do and cannot, or options you saw but did not understand. You may realize nothing is there to fix, but may just need to be documented better.
