I don't mind a free gun, even if i already have the one given :3

1. When did you start playing Spiral Knights?
About a month ago. Loved it, but the close combat sword stuff didn't cut it for me.

2. What is some of the 2 star + gear that you have?
After a lot of RJP grinding (T_T) I recently bought a gunslinger set off the AH. Before that, I had(and still do) a Shadowtech, Prismatech, and a Magnus. I just use the Defender, since it's an okay shield.

3. Did you first start using a sword, gun, or bomb?
I started using a sword (Bolted Blade) until I got tired of dying and got myself a Shadowtech + the blaster that is given in missions.

4. Optional Question: Do you play for free, or do you pay on occasion?
So far, free. But eventually I'll spend some cash for OCH

5. Do you use Steam?
Nope!

6. Are you looking for a guild?
Actually yes, I applied for Knights and Day 2.0 but they haven't responded for awhile.

7. Which alchemer, after reading through the brief descriptions that I gave you above, would you prefer me to send you if you win the drawing? Remember that you will be on the list for the drawing forever until you receive an alchemer.
Preferably a Firotech or Voltech.

1. When did you start playing Spiral Knights?
I started playing last March for 2 days then I didn't get why this MMORPG didn't have classes or jobs for the characters. I quit after a while and got back to it this September. :)

2. What is some of the 2 star + gear that you have?
I have the oh so popular Wolver set and the Brandish.

3. Did you first start using a sword, gun, or bomb?
I really found bombs to be a unique weapon but I started with the sword because it was easier.

4. Optional Question: Do you play for free, or do you pay on occasion?
I don't really know if paying for energy by using the mobile method means I have my account paid for. Only bought P100.00 or $2.43 worth of energy. :)

5. Do you use Steam?
Yep. :)

6. Are you looking for a guild?
I'm already in a good guild, thank you. :P

To all new posters: Rawrcake has long since left this thread, and I'm pretty sure he's currently on hiatus from the game; I haven't seen him around for quite a while, and don't know whether he will be back. It is therefore highly unlikely that any new posters will get anything from this thread, unless some other generous person decides they want to take it up where Rawr left off.

I also make a personal request that people who already have 4* or 5* gear do not beg for guns on this thread, since they can well afford their own. The thread was intended to help support new players, not get older players 1k cr from selling an alchemer on the Auction House.

Advice on buying a gun as a side or a main

1. When did you start playing Spiral Knights?
-two weeks ago

2. What is some of the 2 star + gear that you have?
-Bristling Bustler shield, and the Autogun/Blaster

3. Did you first start using a sword, gun, or bomb?
-The Honour Blade, as it was the only 2* weapon, however i quickly found that I enjoy standing back a little and poking at the enemies with a gun.

4. Optional Question: Do you play for free, or do you pay on occasion?
-I haven't payed yet and don't plan on paying

5. Do you use Steam?
-yes

6. Are you looking for a guild?
-I have a guild currently, but there never seem to be members online, so I would be interested in a more active guild

7. Which alchemer, after reading through the brief descriptions that I gave you above, would you prefer me to send you if you win the drawing?
-Possibly the Prismatech Alchemer, as I like to use a gun on turrets, but I am also thinking of using a gun as my main, in which case im not sure whoch to go for and i really do need advice on this, which is how i came across this thread. Any advice on using guns as a side or main, or advice on which guns to go for would be greatly appreciated!

Hoban-Washburn has posted here that Perronius is willing to help people out by giving away 2* alchemers and offering guild invites. However, since I doubt that Perronius is reading this thread, you may well be better off by sending him a mail ingame rather than shouting at the wind here.

I have a Scary Skelly Suit, Skelly Helm and Shield. I have a Striker for weapon.
