Additional token sinks

I currently have:
15 almirian seals
54 bark modules
166 forge sparks
31 fruminous fangs
205 grim sparks
289 jelly gems ---- I know, I have no life.
37 krogmo coins
161 primal sparks

Of these tokens, I vendor the almire coins when they reach 30, and I vendor the primal sparks when I have 200 or more for 10K.

The only thing that I actually need are krogmo coins.

I'd like something else to spend them on. I don't know what. Maybe costume armors? Something like a "costume jelly helm", that costs 200 jelly gems and looks exactly like a jelly king crown? Or perhaps a gun puppy helmet for 100 roarmulus coins? I know that not many have this problem, and that most vendor their tokens, but this isn't very profitable, and it'd be nice to have some kind of use for them. Perhaps if I could directly convert them to crowns? Perhaps convert them into minerals?

O_O

In all seriousness though, as long as the token sinks are non-essential equipment (especially those fancy ones), and don't cost way too much (maybe 50-100 for boss tokens, but 200 is way out), I'm fine with this idea.

Erm...

Why don't you just vendor the items you get from Jelly Gems? o,o

Praise the sun! \o/

How about more crest accessories, since OOO seems to be liking those lately? For say 50-100 boss tokens, you get a crest with the boss floor emblem in the color of that particular boss stratum. It could be something to the effect of "Ironclaw Munitions Factory Expertice Crest" or "Firestorm Citadel Veteran Crest" or something.

Wow. 200+... I don't even...

@Sev: I wouldn't want this guy to flood the market with SS and Antiguas and drive the price down - heck, some people depend on that for a living!

@Knight-Solaire: Really really long names for a crest, but I get your point - we could have boss-themed accessories; crests not so much though, partly because they're pretty darn small. That and we already have monster-type themed crests.

I dunno, maybe boss-specific accessories? Something like a snarbolax tail.

Boss equipments

Boss-themed accessories/costumes would be pretty nice. Maybe they could all have several versions like the Halloween masks, going up in quality (and durability) as they get more expensive, together with more expensive Shadow Lair variants.

Armor front accessories can

Armor front accessories can be applied to any armor. It's a good choice for an accessory spot.
Could be something like a Snarbolax thorn impaled into a knight, Snarbolax's fur decorating a knight, a lichen clinging to the knight, etc...
Since crests are reskins that seem to be dime a dozen, that could be added too, more reason to use up tokens.
Variety calls for more than just 'Crests 2.0' though, it could be one model that fits into a variety of accessory slots, then someone can sink their tokens into becoming a pincushion.

I like what Parhelion suggests, timed items makes it a longer term solution, as long as people want to keep buying them.

@Kentard:

I never said buy the items, unbind them, and sell them.

I just get rid of my hordes of Gems by buying Jelly Mails and selling it to vendors. It's not a lot of money, but when you have 289 Jelly Gems...lol..

wait...

almost 300 jelly gems....

300/15 = 20

20 x 3,000 = 60,000

O _ o

that means 150 Jelly Gems is profitwise = to 30 almiria seals...

thats 50 defeats versus 10 ... with the 10 being more profitable .... THAT MEANS...

i did math

I only have 12 Jelly

I only have 12 Jelly tokens,
I must be the
token minority

I like the idea of boss-token accessories. Maybe have [poor out-of-work] Basil sell them in the clockworks.
Or, even more round-about, have Brinks sell 'accessory-plans' for tokens that you then deliver to Clockworks-Basil* in exchange for the accessory.

*Mission-Basil's inventory should be moved to Clockworks-Basil, but have Clockworks-Basil sell these funderful accessory-plans

It costs 10 energy for 3

It costs 10 energy for 3 tokens.

15 tokens = 3.5K cr

It costs 7K per 100 ce.

30 tokens = 10 runs = 7000 ce. I'm only making a profit selling them if the price is less than 7000 cr per 100 ce.

Compare to not doing the boss, and earning something.

IDEA: When I get 1000 tokens, I'll buy 50 sealed swords, and put them all on auction house. Just because.

Or perhaps I will vendor them all and buy scissor blades... lets see...

3,500/15= 233.33 cr per token
1,500,000/233.33 = ~6430 jelly gems for scissor blades.
289/6430= 4.49% of the way there. Quite a bit of farming I shall have to do.
Only 2047 more runs to go.

@Fehzor:

...

Why would you run RJ on CE? lol, Maybe RJP, but the JK himself? I used to always go up when RJP was "The thing" to farm.

How about when you get 1,000 tokens, you just get 500 Rock Salts and put them on the AH. =]

I beat it on CE because there

I beat it on CE because there are people relying on me to beat it, and I feel bad leaving them (a bunch of 2* players) to fight the royal jelly without me.
