I was trying to talk to a guildmate, but before I could send her the message my computer suddenly started entering the number 1 into the chatbox nonstop. Is this a bug or something?

That is a gltch,
it happened to me once too, typing the number again should make it stop, if not, just log out and back in again.

If pressing 1 again doesn't stop it, go out of full screen mode and press 1 in google.
Go back to the game and it's ok.

I find that this happens a lot when I'm playing SK on Linux (computer labs that are too easy but mandatory ftw?). I usually just change the window size and it fixes it.
The prob is prolly old version of java combined with laggy computer
