And I thought I was able to simply go down and talk to the spiral warden when he tells me that I need to get 4 star clearance in the Hall of Hero's. So now my excitement for t3 has worn out. I would imagine t3 is VERY HARD (I haven't been anywhere except being invited to FSC). What should I expect to find in t3 in preparation for it?

I think the missions before

I think the missions before 4* Hall is strat 5, the easier T3. Go play around in it a bit. Craft one shield for each damage type. Learn to dodge. Play safe, defensively. Learn the new animations and attack styles. Learn damage types if you havn't already. If in doubt, back off and watch its attack patterns.

Take care with fiends and search on forums to learn how to deal with them.

Well, the wiki will probably

Well, the wiki will probably help you a lot with this, especially the descriptions of the different monsters. Most monsters will attack more often and fire more projectiles at a time (if they fire projectiles), have more health, and deal more special damage. For instance, kats will fire 3 bullets instead on one, gun puppies will fire 5 bullets in a row in a spread in stead of 3 at once, wolvers will burrow more, and gremlin thwackers will have shields protecting their backs. You can search for "monster" or click the link in the middle-right of the page that says "Monsters" to get to the page that lists the families of monsters.

The only enemies I felt were a big jump in difficulty from T2 to T3 were gremlins and kats. Thwackers have shields, menders can lay down healing fields and revive each other, and kats get crazy distance with their dashes.

Is it true there are certain

Is it true there are certain situations in which you can get killed in one hit? Are there any new features in t3 LD?

T1 is the only place where

T1 is the only place where you will not get one shotted with minimum health against best equipment. As in, 2 bars as a proto strike against a heavy hatchet. Although, with the introduction of a T1 rocket hammer, I'm not sure anymore.

With 4* gear, it should take at least 2 hits to kill you. Unless it is the 2nd swing of a heavy sword. But not even that should one hit you.

Minus the gear, there is nothing new in T3 lockdown. I believe T3 has more skilled players, but this is debatable. All I know is, I've played games in T2 where I could take on the entire team and not die. Several games, and not the same people. Hasn't happened in T3.

Perhaps it is more accuate to say that T2 has less skilled players, but take it as you will.

T3 Lockdown

T3 Lockdown is more about skill then in T2 and T1. In T2 and T1 you can get away with winning by spamming, while in T3 that's not going to happen. This is just my experience.

T1 LD requires the most

T1 LD requires the most skill. T2 and T3 is almost completely combo spamming pierce swords.

No

Trying, I don't agree with you. When I played LD as tier 1, I always won whenever I spammed my hot edge. No one shield caceled, no one did any skill whatsoever.

@Duke

That used to be true, until 1* hammers were released. Now, you have to autoaim with an edge weapon to counter hammers. And being a guardian, you are the easiest target to be whittled down.

Tier 3 is a lot like tier 2,

Tier 3 is a lot like tier 2, except that you die in about three or four hits. If you get hit. You don't get hit, do you?

Some types of mobs have their attacks changed to make them tougher, and some basically do the same stuff that they do in tier 2.
