What is the best of Lockdown gear and its UV

Anyone have any idea about the Gear and UV for a striker in lockdown?
I mean U have the biggest chance to survive when dealing with players who uses FF and GF.
Today I play with a guy wearing snarby set, I poke him with my BTB(dmg MAX), but still need 6 hit to kill him. Then I change to GF, even worse, need 5 slash to kill him, what UV could it be?
Confused...
And I have my gear like this: skolver helm with max elemental defense + snarby coat with max pierce defense, but I encounter same life loss when slashed by GF as pure skolver set, and no elemental defense increased obviously. Is it a wrong combination?

i see, but i just wonder whether i should get gears with its specific UVs, for example: snarby set with max shadow, skolver with pierce UV etc. Only in this way can it do some obvious help. And also as i wear half snarby and half skolver, i will died more easily with 3 hit of GF or 5 hit of FF, so wear same helm and coat do more help than combination I guess.
Any pro give some ideas?

It depends if you want to be a competitive Lockdown player or not. If you do, then Vog, Skolver, Snarby, etc, would be the best armors to go for. As for weapons, Polaris, Final Flourish/Barbarous Thorn Blade, Divine Avenger/Gran Faust, etc. Oh and UVs. UVs are good too. But if you just want to play for fun, go for whatever gear you feel like. But there are exceptions. Take my guild leader Sciasz for example. He as I have seen him, fights competitively. But I've seen him go in 5* weapons and 0* armor. So as I said, it depends.
Also, your playing style. Here's a list (From my own opinion) that I would recommend for if you are a Swordsman, Gunner or Bomber.
Swordsman
(Note - Not including any Unique Variants as that is situation and opinion based)
- Helm:- Skolver Cap.
- Armor:- Skolver Coat.
- Sword 1:- Barbarous Thorn Blade.
- Sword 2:- Divine Avenger.
- Sword 3:- Gran Faust.
Gunner
- Helm:- Nameless Hat.
- Armor:- Nameless Poncho.
- Gun 1:- Argent Peacemaker.
- Gun 2:- Polaris.
- Gun 3:- Magma Driver.
- Gun 4:- Umbra Driver.
Bomber
- Helm:- Mad Bomber Mask.
- Armor:- Mad Bomber Suit.
- Bomb 1:- Voltaic Tempest.
- Bomb 2:- Ash of Agni.
- Bomb 3:- Nitronome.
- Bomb 4:- Shivermist Buster.
As I said, this is my own opinion, not any of it is based on fact and none of it I would advertise as fact. I wouldn't necessarily dub myself a 'Pro Player', more like an 'Experienced Player', as since Lockdown's release I have played effectively in all 3 positions. In my opinion, I would say performing as a swordsman is the most effective position in Lockdown.

Are u talking about me xD?

For Swords and Guns the most sought after UVs are ASI, normally at least Medium, although the higher the better. The exception is the Brandish line swords, those are normally CTR. For Bombs you don't need any UVs if you are going to be a Recon, Guardian gets a slight boost to bomb CTR so CTR UVs are useful there... and if you're going Bomb Striker you're going to have to pack at least a Medium CTR boost just to counter the negative the class gives bombs (aka, not recommended to use bombs as a Striker).
For armor there's a lot more possibilities. The most used bombs are Shivermist and Voltaic Tempest so Max and High UVs for Freeze and Shock are always in demand (especially for Wolver line items). Piercing is in a stupidly high demand due to all the Flourishes in PVP. Elemental will probably get up there also if the Hammer becomes seen enough. Stun is not sought after much, although the Stagger
Personally I do not like damage resist UVs that are not the same type as the armor gives (same for Shields, but that is irrelevant here). A Max damage resist UV gives 4.75 bars (checked a Max Normal Divine Veil to find out), which is a little less then a 3* armor at level 10. I think it is a waste myself, but to each their own. Max Pierce stacked on a Skolver on the other hand is very nice, knocks the resist up to what a 6* would probably be.

For a striker?
ASI+ on all non-CTR-reliant weapons (even low is enough with inherent asi boost from striker module)
Shock Resist on Skolver (will not protect you from a brandish charge even if you have double max, so I prefer something more reliable such as double max piercing or even max normal with some going as far as max elemental for polaris defense)
Tetra-Hearts for both slots
is this even necessary?
+19 health (with Skolver maxed to 10)
+Inherent med ASI boost and whatever you can scrounge up
+Resistant to shock haze
+Max damage with Skolver/Snarby
really....?
edit: Oh you want gear too?
Simple:
Rapier
Sealed Sword
Elemental Brandish
[4th weapon is your preference, but my guild master suggests that all strikers need a polaris or sentenza/argent peacemaker to be competitive]
Actually you can take out the elemental brandish and replace it with polaris/argent/sentenza so this way you can use both guns. It's similar to the set Chris has on currently.
As a recon, brandishes are a must though, since we can use CTR weapons with the greatest of ease...

Guys, i guess i already got these weapons, GF, FF/BTB, Polaris and 4th one(brandish or hammer or DA)
The only thing concern me is the UV for my skolver or Snarby set.
Cocosnake i will ask you in game someday, lol, your gear is just OMFG, do you have both pierce max on your snarby set to bear 6 FF atk or 5 GF slash?
Should i wear a snaby set with both pierce UV or skolver with shadow UV? And I don't feel like normal MAX is useful as i can still kill nalrayi who wears skolver set with both normal MAX with 3 GF slash.

No gear, not even Snarby with max Shadow UVs, can take 5 GF hits without a Guardian Shield without healing somehow. Either you missed or he healed or had the Guardian Shield on him.

Not enough health in the game to take on 5 hits from a 5* sealed sword.
If I death mark you...most guardians, even with a +6 trinket bonus (+12 will survive), will die in one full combo.

Actually I thought of a way you could take that many hits, but the odds of it happening are very low. A Rock Jelly would have to spawn and drop a +21 Vita. That could theoretically knock the person's HP up to anywhere from 34 to 64, assuming the armor is fully leveled and 5*.

Uvs like piercing and elemental do little to help, unless you're Mister Max Uvs for Everything. While on the other hand uvs like shock and fire help quite a bit more. If your getting hit a lot, just work on a way to find out how to NOT get hit, like counter attacking and stuff. Though if you still get hit a lot, go half Skolver/Snarby with piecre uvs on one and shadow on the other. Though personally, I just defend against flourishes because they hit faster.
I would guess the guy wearing the Snarby set had shadow uvs, if any at all.
