I''ve been using a Toxic Vaporizer in T2 Lockdown & I've gotta say, the Results were pretty Impressive.

But back to the Question.

Does Poisoning a Guardian Prevent them from Healing/Healing Others? Does it Damage them when they Shield?

Needs testing, but if we

Needs testing, but if we assume everything to hold true during lockdown:

Prevents healing, and deals some damage. But since guardian shield protects from damage, the guardian shield will also protect frm the damage dealt. So nothing happens, besides guardian shield staggering.

It does

Toxic bomb stops healing and it works at LD as well.
Guardian shield can't heal player which have been poisoned.
When the player is near the bomb, the initial blast of the player do damage the player only.

Ncks, you missed the part

Ncks, you missed the part where poison does damage to a monster when healed by an ally. What we don't know for sure is, if that woks the same way on knights.

Nope...

In the clockworks, the slime levels with those damn lichen things, the spikes deal poison. So when I walk though them forgetting to put my shield up to collect a heart, I don't lose damage when I pick up the heart. (It's on the other side of the thorns and I'm not still ivunerable.)

If you picked it up, you

If you picked it up, you weren't poisoned. Afaik, knights are prevented from taking damage from poison due to healing because they can't take hearts or other healing sources when poisoned.

And that we don't have a mechanic to heal others, which is what menders and silks do. And in those cases, I'm certain enemies take damage from attempted heals.

I didn't pick it up.

I didn't pick it up. I was bubbling, didn't pick it up and I had that strange green symbol.

"...when i pick up the

"...when i pick up the heart"

"i didn't pick up the heart"

So all your experience proved was that poison prevents healing, it doesn't disprove poison causes damage, which bombers do use in arenas in the form of venom veiler.

Hmmm

Yeah... Anyway, this needs testing. Can the Game Masters test this privately?

poison doesn't deal dmg

poison does not deal dmg when being healed by a guardian, it just prevents u from healing thats all. i've been poisoned in t3 LD a few times by my guildmates and the only thing it does is lower my def and attk dmg, and prevents guardian shields from healing me. thats what poison has always done. if u took dmg then its from the bomb exploding. which means when u poison a guardian, they can't heal themselves, however they can still heal other players that have not been poisoned.

But I thought that only Monsters got their Defences Lowered.

Even if there was a defence

Even if there was a defence debuff, it should be in-line with the 10% or so that monsters suffer from. So not a huge difference.

Its strange, Poison debuff

Its strange, Poison debuff ins only 1/3 dmg? no 1/2? anyway. Still a awsome bomb for a supporter bomber but nobody play support when everybody pick striker and do Zerling rushs.
