Well a Black Chapeau ( gotten in the rose event in the end of april 2011 ) just sold for 45k CE ( ref http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/47950 ). Mine is from the second rose event ( like 3 months? later ).
Gold Chapeau's where going for like 4K CE like 2 months ago, and you say they are going for 6-8k Ce now, then 20k CE should be reached soon enough.
I can wait :D
And thank you for the current price check. The only Gold chap in the AH ATM has a buy out of 1.5 million crowns So I am in line with my price to the AH price.

Try again Hero - Gold Chap is from " Summer 2011 " ( ref http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Chapeau_of_the_Gold_Rose ) and the Black Chap that just sold for 45k CE was from april 2011 ( ref Nick's fourm post from from 4/29/2011 http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/5957 ). So where is this year difference you speak of???
