I prefer to do alchemy over buying, because it is generally cheaper. But, I'm not so sure what I want.
I'm a sword/gun type guy. I'm primarily concerned with the sword part, at the moment, because I only use guns for support and levers.
Which means I'm doing an alchemy quest for a new sword, to get to Tier 3. I have a Tempered Calibur, currently. So I'm wondering whether to level it up all the way to either Cold Iron Carver or Ascended Calibur. Both of which are fine.
Or, if I should go for Hunting Blade, Vile Striker, or Winmillion. I just have a strong feeling about Winmillion, though..
What are your thoughts?

Try out a few graveyards (and dark cities if you're in tier 2); if they drive you nuts, go for the blade what is named like me.
If you think they're not half bad, and you'd be happy to grind 'em for better gear, then Cold Iron may be your better pick.
Winmillion isn't ideal for tier 3 unless you get some ridiculous UV on it. Since you already have the Tempered Calibur, I'd aim for either Leviathan or Cold Iron Vanquisher as your end-game weap.
