This is the deal...

Today I was about to log off and a friend invited me to help them on a T3 Mission. I willingly accepted because I had 30 energy left, turns out they needed me to revive them all so they could finish which I helped them do as we were swamped by gremlins. It was all very fun and I even helped them finish the first section of an arena depth and suddenly I see a loading screen and I realized, I've been kicked. Without me they wouldn't have had the ability to continue to the next depth or even finish that arena, personally I hope you failed. I got a message saying "Sorry :(" and I responded with " Why (was I kicked)" which he said "bec, i knew you wouldn't agree" and then I gave them a lecture about their actions. Personally I find this despicable. Have the honor to respect those that help you.

Calling people out is not

Calling people out is not allowed/frowned upon on the forums. I recommend you remove those names.

Aside from that, I do agree that people like this really need a lesson in common courtesy. Someone who goes out of their way to help another person should not be treated as you were. I find it to be similar in how someone asks "Hey, anyone want to join for FSC?", and you agree to do so, only to find out it's just you, 20 slags, and three dead party members lying around. At least tell people they're coming to a dead party so they know what to expect.

Just makes me rage a little inside when people refuse to show a little appreciation/respect for those around them who are willing to help :/

Agree to what exactly? You clearly helped, and did most of the job there.

Why exactly did they needed to kick you out? What kind of logic is that from them.

I get those kind of idiots myself, time to time, Just next time, don't help them at all.

Better yet, just join in, finish the job where they could not, and then go solo, next time they pull this "we need you, because we all died and failed."

even though its frown upon mentioning names, i had the same thing happen to me with the same player! (roadice)
invited to find out it was end of a level....whaaaa? this appears to happen time after time, so im not really the guy to complain on ppl but i would recommended to unfriend the player. thts wht i did.

@Canine and actually I was invited to revive them at the end of a depth as well and then they kicked me at the start of the next after I helped them finish the first battle of an arena

I removed someone from my friend list because they wouldn't stop spamming me invites then demanded I join via a tell. My guess is they were dead. Either way, I was busy and having invite screens spammed to me is annoying.

EDIT: I'll also throw in that I tried to pull that stunt on a guildmate who I typically do runs with.... too bad he didn't join :-D

Players are really pushing

Players are really pushing the envelope these days. Last week I had one knight try to sell me the last key to the treasure room in RJP for 1000Cr, and another (whom did not see I was party leader lawl) try to demand 30 Ce saying he would not get on the lift and make us all miss arena if we diddnt meet his demands!

eh...fwiw at least you can't str8 up ninja stuff in this game ;)

Bad players

Here's some players i've listed, i've met that were all the same, hope this helps. So you too, can avoid them, next time. Believe me, was trouble playing with them.

It's either, they go off on their own, don't support, don't revive others, or dies and expects others to revive them, while not doing the same.
And in general, greedy, nitpicking, selfish, and a bragger.

same issue

i had the same issue once. someone on my friends list asked me to help them in an arena cuz they were all dead and even offered me 100ce (didn't really care if he was going to give it to me or not) to help them. so i did. when we finished, i asked for the 100ce and then he removed me as a friend and kicked me from the party. the things ppl do these days is just shameful :/

Look mate,I never tried to comment on you,you see,I usually revive my fallen members,but in case they are purely pathetic,I can't say anything but shame on you,you see,if I was soloing over something,that would be because you were either pathetic,either you didn't deserve the revive,look mate,I don't know who you are,but none deserves to be in such a horrible status like you were whining to,and if you know all of us,who are you,I've probably done some runs with you didn't I?

Wrong IGN, Just know you didn't brother to help no one, so nice try. I always keep my list of people who act like this, and how you're acting, is, already proof to be one.

You see, I was in a group parties for these, and you bother helping no one, like the rest on that list. You see, Im a fairly decent player, who understand team work, I would revive others as soon they're down, not blame them, or get mad over it. Or That I would revive them, even if they're "pathetic" to you, I'd rather help others, than being a high and mighty serious gamer about it.

It's unfortunate you're one of them then, I only listed the players we've encountered, you see, So that others would not have to encounter this next time, not whining.

There is no solution, besides a tougher punishment system by the GM's. Most a player can do is solo, kick, or ignore. And it has degenerated to name calling, so it should be graveyarded.

yep, demonic pretty much said it all.

What i do is sort of get revenge :)

I make it a point to befriend a lot of popular or influential people, and usually the guy being a jerk has some ties to someone i know.

With a little effort, i can make them get into the same party as me, and pretty much shame them, as long as they are not party leader :D

People cant escape ^-^ *Evil grin*

Or, if all else fails, complain loudly to a friend while they are nearby, usually gets them mad :).
Me and my friend then proceed to pretend he is not there and continue talking, not naming him, but making it obvious that we are talking about himz, by talking about the specific party he was in with me, what run we were doing, when we were doing it, etc...

The jerk usually ends up running up to me and asking why IM being a jerk, and then the haven usually goes "Lol"

I have no reason to remove the list, sorry. This is what i've gather, during my time playing. And no, it wasn't just simply once, it was multiple times, those players were doing these wrongful actions, and little team work, threw out the levels going down.

And i hope that this would help other players to avoid, or at least know what's probably going to happen.

And just because they did something wrong doesn't mean you are allowed to break the rules. Shooting a convicted criminal is still breaking the law, and will most likely get you in trouble.

Report, if they broke a rule. Otherwise, /ignore and get better so you don't need their help.

Gwenyvier is a bad player. She is mean, nasty, doesn't rev, and couldn't kill a Scuttlebot to save her life (which is why she is always on the floor waiting to be rev'd). By the way... can somebody come rev me? I'm in D30 of the Emerald Chicken Gate.

On a serious note, yea, there are people like that Rolfey. If they pull that then just remove them from your list and be done with them, honestly not a lot else you can do. While SK has a better community then pretty much any other MMO I've played it is still the internet after all.

As for New-Boy, name and shame is against the ToS. At best it will have your post editted by an admin to say "[redacted]" where your list of names was and a note from the admin not to do that anymore, at worst (and repeated offenses) it will get you banned. If you don't care about that then good on you, have fun. Just don't complain if you get banned.

And sorry for what happened to you, but like what most said, all you can do is remove them from your friends list. Sometimes, if I'm not in a good mood, I'll even remove someone for inviting me without telling me first.

whats your problem with a dead party I se it respect full to revive people if they invite me but first I normally clear the area to make it easier but one time final stage on the twins I hit the switch being an idiot and layered every one one died I reved him and then got booted it dident take long for me to die some people are jest odd that way
