not sure if its been suggested, or anything. and im not really sure how one would currently buy energy (iv never done it). but i think a good idea might be to make cards one could by at say walmart, wallgreens, eckards(p), right aid, etc.

similar to the Gaia cards for gaiaonline, or Maplepoints card for maplestory. say...a $10 cards get you 100 (cristal) energy. 15 gets you 150. 20 gets you 200, etc.
not sure if these prices/energy values are a little skewed (again, never bought energy), but its just an idea to work with.

also, aside from making crystal energy more accesible to people with cards, the cards could also advertise Spiral Knights a little. someone goes into walmart to buy a gaia cash card, and see's a card with these cool little knights on them. drawn in by the pic gets curious, and looks up the site later at home.

Get the Ultimate Game Card

OOO accepts the Ultimate Game Card, which is available at CVS, Walmart, 7-11, and lots of others.

Also, the CE amounts you list per price are very low. You'll be pleasantly surprised when you do buy CE to find that you get 1600 for $5, 3500 for $10, 7500 for $20, and 20,000 for $50.

An alternative option, pulled

An alternative option, pulled off the Puzzle Pirates page:
"Three Rings game cards can be used to pay for any of our current games. Available in $20 denominations, Three Rings game cards have the same value as cash for the purchase of either doubloons or a two month subscription. The cards are for sale at US Target stores nationwide. The first cards released have Puzzle Pirate art on the front. If you have trouble finding the cards, you can ask the helpful Target staff for product number 012/15/0177."
*Note: I don't actually know if SK takes that card, but it IS another OOO game, so it's a fair shot.

Alternative-alternative option: Lots of places sell generic pre-paid Visa cards that work, for the most part, like a normal credit card.

The Ultimate game card

Id like to know more about this card, if anyone can fill me in. does the card act like a gift card/debit card? does it work on somewhere the lines of you getting how much you put in and it has its own card number to type in for the purchasing of energy? please fill me in, i may consider doing this.

Ok then

UGC's are usually worth twenty dollars, and you pay no tax on them since your basically changing where your money is. Once you buy it, you go to the site you want to spend it on (if it's supported) and enter the number on the back of the card, this will then transfer your money to the bank accounts of whomever you just bought from.
