From what I've seen, there are very few people who carry around the weapons I have mentioned. I've heard reasons such as how they're worthless in most circumstances. (Grinding Vanaduke? Use a Blitz Needle. Beasts and Fiends? Use Final Flourish/Dark Thorn Blade. Haze bomb? Use Shivermist/Voltaic Tempest.)

In my opinion, these weapons are pretty fun to use, and a person should disregard what other people say about your choice. This also applies to armors helms and shields.

What weapon/gear do you see the least/consider impractical?

Ash of Agni Underused? It's the Best DPS Haze Bomb.

The others you Listed, though, are Underused.

-VPB because it only Deals Normal Damage & the Fire is hard to Come By
-FF because it has Lowered Power for such a Small Chance of Causing Fire. The Enemy'll be Dead before you have a Chance to Inflict a Status.

The most profitable levels ever happen to be made of fire, making such weapons a bad choice.

They are not bad but if you care about grinding and farming, you wont chose these weapons first.

I have only a fiery vaporizer

I have only a fiery vaporizer mk, but it's my main weapon for all but fire strata. I guess it's more useful for JK and arenas, which are the non-5* peoples' grinding areas.

Not if they want to be productive and actually contribute to their party. It's an issue of practicality, not conformity.

Volcanic pepperbox - a pretty

Volcanic pepperbox - a pretty awesome weapon. It's a little harder to use effectively, though, and for some reason people dislike the idea of pure normal damage.

Furious Flamberge - As Ironskullkid said, you usually kill the monster before the fire takes effect. Looks cool though :)

Ash of Agni - TBH I haven't seen one used in a while (but then, you can't really use it in FSC lol). Shiver is primarily used in FSC against Vanaduke, most veteran players will argue that it is bad because it ruins kiting, etc etc... Voltaic Tempest and Ash are about on par in effectiveness, depends where and how you use 'em. (VT might be more popular since it is very useful in lockdown)

Hmm

Ash is in my standard loadout. Makes all but fire-themed Arenas silly easy. I use it in two of the three room in The Gauntlet too, works wonders.

The other weapons do have their faults.

The problem with volcanic

The problem with volcanic pepperbox is that blitz needle greatly outclasses it for 4 out of 6 monster types. That leaves Constructs and Slimes. I really don't want to use a auto-gun on either of those monster types. I had a pepperbox when I first started because I loved fire, but then realized it was a bad gun compared to what I could buy. I'm yet to craft a blitz needle, but then again I rarely need one since everyone else seems to have one.
