Two handed weapons

Two handed weapons, would be my most trusted set if i were to chose because it's not like i use my shield that much anyway ;D
I don't know if "Three Rings" or "SEGA" are working on that or not if they are... great :) .
Step one, would be quite simple really all they would have to do is place a slot directly beside it on diagonally beneath it or where ever you want
just make sure it's really close to the shield. Step two make sure you set a program for not allowing a shield on while you have the other slot in use or instead make it that it asks to replace the shield for weapon or weapon for shield. Step three make sure the second slot beside the shield is connected
to a new button key thing, (optional to change like always) and then you should be able to attack with speed if you can manage it... Just as-well making sure that any weapon except for slow weapons like hatchet not be able to do double and making sure they have to chose the same type of weapon
e.g: Gun and Gun, Sword and Sword, Speed Sword and Speed Sword, and finally Flourish and Flourish...like that.

[{By the way you guys can change the idea a little bit, as long as it doesn't get out of hand :) }]

thank you for listening to my Suggestion

You're Playing the Game Wrong.

And here we go

Already been suggested and declined by both the community and developers (I believe). Shields are far too useful and if you're not coming to the same conclusion - and I'll quote Ironskullkid - You're Playing the Game Wrong.

Along with the fact that the system you insist on implementing is very flawed and would be confusing - we don't NEED a separate slot. If anything it'd just prevent you from using block at all and that's that. If they EVER implemented two-handed weapons, it'd fill a weapon slot, period.

Regardless, after reading through your post I'm sure you meant to say 'dual wielding weapons', which is an entirely different matter altogether, and again has been refused by the developers and the community as viable, especially when you consider PvP.

(Also your forum name is your in-game name by the way, no need to point it out.)

But technically, you're still using a Shield.

If....

If i got a ASI boost for NOT using a shield, i would not use a shield.

I dont even block, I just get out of the way.

But since there isn't Such a thing, you'll be using your Swiftstrike, which still means you use it.

Anyway, here's how it goes.
Dual wielding is a strict no-no. It's been discussed to death in this forum, and so far responses are largely negative - simply because it'll be OP or you'll be left without a shield.
Same applies to two-handed weapons.

You're using a Sudaruska.

By default, you're playing the game wrong. :D

But yeah I don't see how you survive at all with that kind of weapon without a sturdy shield.

meh

you could probably still use a axe/2h sword with a shield because the shield isn't being grabbed by the knights its just floating above their writs so they could still hold stuff in both hands take Archeron & bombs for instance. So it is possible to hold a 2h weapon.

They could grab the 2h weapon with 1h when they need to block.

Just because of that fact I give you my +1

Technically, 2-h weapons already exist.

*Looks at Divine Avenger, Leviathan Blade, CIV, Sudaruska, Triglav, and so on...*

Nope! Look at the hilt of those swords you just named and tell me if they're 2-handed weapons.

if anything some of them would be bastard swords (1 1/2 handed sword).

also why do you always put "~Sev" in your comments?

It's called a signature.

Anyway, if you're concerned about the aesthetics I don't see a very big problem except that some animations may cause the handle to hit your player.
It's possible to hold a 2h weapon, but this point is irrelevant since the OP requested proper two-handed weapon mechanics involving the removal of shields and (possibly) dual wielding.

Again, I reiterate, aesthetically, I'm fine - the Acheron works, so why not.
But if you try to implement 2h wielding into game mechanics, all hell freezes over.

*GASP* Foul language! Hehe.

So, extend the size of the hilt. But you can't possibly extend the size of DAT SWORD and expect our little cyborg to hold it.

And...yeah...it's a signature... ><;

tbh I don't know what the knights are capable of... they basically can hold a trokai, war master hammer, DA with one hand and do loads of damage.... image how hard they would hit if they used both hands....

the sudden realization of that scares me a little....

Let's forget about how leet Tsu is for not using a shield, animation issues, etc....

(Most) Enemies are super weak. I can finish them off with just 1 sword combo, provided its of the right damage type.
The most obvious benefit of a 2-handed weapon would be more power right? Such thing is useless unless you want to 1-shot a lumber/trojan/boss.

Why go with a giant sword when i can own enemies with a small brandish and leave a slot open for the useless shields that even if you dont like them they still provide a passive bonus.

@Juances:

You make a good point there, lol.

It literally takes 1 1/2 combos of a Voltedge to take out a T3 Gremlin. Now what kind of sense does that make? The normal damage is the only thing hurting the gremlin, but it takes the first combo, then like 1 or 2 more swings when they're on the ground to finish them off.
