I used a faust/curse vial on a Lumber at the RJP, but when it used it's smash attack, I didn't see the damage numbers (I do have it set so I see the numbers). SOmetimes it will take damage, but most of the time it won't, this happens on other constructs as well. Is it a glitch or intended, are constructs immune to curse like they are sleep?

Some enemies have additional

Some enemies have additional abilities in addition to their basic attack that you wouldn't initially consider as such. Not sure if Lumbers do.
In the case of, say, slimes, you can end up with a cursed slime smacking you without taking any curse damage. However, it would then take damage if using the ranged spike attack, for example. Another example would be wolvers not taking damage when attacking, but taking damage when dodging or teleporting. I've noticed this for a while now.

Curse only has a certain chance of damaging a monster every time they attempt something, right as they begin that action. With the wolver example above, you wouldn't be looking for the curse damage on the bite but on instead when the attack indicator first appears.

Also, as Trying mentioned Lumbers are immune to curse ticks for some reason and are bad targets for curse to begin with.

You think it has something to do with the Spell tag on it's Head?
