So I discovered that there is a scarf accessory in Spiral Knights. I would like to acquire one.
However, I have been foiled so far, as there were none on the AH when last I checked.
So, some questions for anyone in the know:
How are scarves introduced into the game? (i.e., only from lockboxes? Only from featured auctions?)
Are they an in-demand accessory? I don't ever recall seeing one worn, yet.
And finally, does anyone have a ballpark value for them?

- Scarves are available from lockboxes as well as featured auctions, the rarer ones (divine/volcanic/prismatic) are found on the featured
- I think so, the common ones are available pretty frequently on the AH (even on here too). Sometimes there are none, but you should definitely be able to find some if you look often. Quite a number of people have scarves, it just might be a bit hard to discern them depending on what armor they are on and what color.
- Correct me if I'm wrong but the common ones should range from 200k - 300k cr

I find an accessory I desire, and it's going to cost me crowns out the wazoo. Looks like this'll have to wait until I can spam Vana runs on my own, then.
you get them from lockboxes. they are pricey, but no idea about "in demand". they are rare enough that the demand for them will have you bidding against someone for the most part.
I know I saw a cool scarf for over 200k cr on the AH this week. couldn't tell you where it ended though.
