also, nick's answear was pretty the only one given on dual wielding, and he's not with it.
We can have... DAGGERS. In many game the rouge class has daggers, no? Well we can implement something similar.
The main points being:
Fast attack
With medium damage , like 6/10
Weapon lined specifically for this purpose
Shield may function normally or slightly slower blocking
Combos are a bit longer than normal (possibly 5 hits)
Use one weapon slot(possibly sheaths visible on knight)
NO OP DUAL GF/DA OR A BRAND/BLITZ
Attack animation similar to chargebut maybe like the cutter line charge, a stab,stab,slash,slash,cross slash.
I can see this being added to the game, any admin feedback l?

Might this be an alternative? I don't see why.not, but it would require a lot of changes though. I have no strong opinion on this matter, but I find it most interestimg. But whatever you do, do not make a class system

Annyways I think that dual wielding would**** up the game sytem.
May people (including me) like this game cuz the controls are easy to use.

maybe we could take away the shield and add the skill 'COUNTER' last shout but when enemy attack it auto dodge (right or left) and attacks back making a knock back on the enemy.
We could even make a skill for block in every single dual weapon like 'dual guns' and 'dual bombs'
this comment might make this grab the admins attention and give them ideas
also dual wielding can be putted in the new test sever and
dual wielding will not mess up the game cuz you don't have to dual wield!
When I made these suggestions a year ago or so, instead of a discussion I got hate posts from hexzyle and luguiru. I guess I'm the Tesla of these forums, and you guys are the Edisons.
Maybe because your thread is underdeveloped, and these happen to have admin posts on them.

Why not have the dual sword have a lowered attack and lower attack speed, also have relatively low defense.
Then you have a disadvantage to bringing in dual sword/gun/bomb/whatever.
why would you want to make dual wielding lower speed , attack and defense? then whats the point of making dual wielding then
I say that we make speed higher and attack higher and different defense moves
with their own weakness and advantage
and I would like to see new guns ,bomb, sword and new type of weapon
e.g flail , katana , machine gun (ignoring the auto gun ) and some spears
the weapons like sword ,gun , bomb is getting pretty old -_-

dual wielding will lead to the destruction of everything it stands before you if you have the same attack. see dual wielding blitz. so it has to be balanced with something, like the nerfs stated above. you can't just say "do this and that" and expect something to happen. detail matters beacuse it gives a something to work on. if you don't give detail, it's not a suggestion, it's asking for something. like making an order or begging.
now, do you have an idea of how many sword, gun and bombs types are there? have you got every single sword, gun and bomb in the game? if not, I suggest you to go get them.

pets were asked or they wouldn't have got up with this idea. it's written in the announcement if you have read it.
dash and bash were not asked. we asked for new weapons, yes. every single time someone takes out dual wielding gets owned by several people (exept a few that do things right).
we were bored and asked for new levels, monsters, or whatever. they gave us compounds, minis, and the gorgos. some complain that the difficulty went higher. but that is a good thing. the difficulty was (and still is, for me) too low. you can reach the core in the arcade with 4* weapons and armor. you can actually solo vana with 4* armor and weapons if you have the good ones.
so, in the end:
1 look at fhezor's thread and comment if you like or not.
2 quit giving faults at admins if they are giving us something the community asked.

The idea of dual wielding also bothers me for this game but there could be more skill based changes made concerning dual wielding. Maybe instead of a shield , "parry", a "shield" that doesnt function as a shield does but rather momentary protect and must be hit within a certain time frame of time that has a fraction of the shields protection and strikes the enemy instantly for 50% normal damage upon a successful "parry".
Lets say (2-3 second press time frame) with about 1 hit worth of "absorption". Recharge rate would be dependant on what would make it balanced with a normal "shield" defense. By balance i mean less effective defensive protection to balance more damage output.
