Check the AH.
Last I checked, silversix recipies were hitting a nice 15kish.

Somebody explain this.
Twisted targe recipies more expensive than a silversix recipie?
I think the subject clears it up, but for clarification...
Most people use the Missions to farm for crowns/tokens/whatever.
Due to the lack of people going into the Arcade (Some do, actually) and getting said recipes, their prices skyrocket.
The items in question means that fewer people are finding Twisted Targe (And the others in the line) Recipes.
Hope this answers some of your questions.
Doesn't really explain why there are an abundance of silversix recipies.
There just happened to be. After all, most of those recipes were bought when antigua lines were changed.
You also need to consider the sword damage bonus on the shield. It makes it a much more desired by all the swordies, thus greater demand.
Why bother with antigua line if you can go to HoH and get an alchemer.Sure it's not the same thing, but a pretty good and cheaper alternative.
The shield instead is 100% unique.
Juances' post pretty much explains the price hike. Hall of Heroes does not carry boss-line recipes.
I see what you did here.
You posted it here to make more ppl know they are expensive so more will try to get them at clockworks, if more will get them they will start posting them on AH reducing price.
Bad Mechnexus , bad Mechnexus.
This actually is not new. Twisted Targe and Twisted snarble Barb were always the most expensive 3* recipes on the market, even before missions came out. You could always resell them for 8-9k. The huge demand explains it, you have all these beginners with these free boss items they get from farming Snarbolax. And well they say, heh, i got a free sword and a free shield, let's just upgrade them? It's even more popular than dusker recipes. Now, as mentioned above, because of the mission system, these two recipes went rare since only available through arcade runs, but the demand remains huge, making the price skyrocketing.
Remember, twisted targe you can only get on a T2 run. Silversix can pop on T2 OR T3, making it much more common.
Because every swordsman wants the snarborous shield.
Not every gunman cares for the antigua lines.

With Pulsar and Catalyzer introduced, Antigua's competition.
There is no real competition for the Antigua lines, now that they have been rebalanced.
The influx of Silversix recipes (and lack of selling price) is the same as why 2* and 4* recipes have always sold rather badly and 3* and 5* have always sold well. If you do a T2 run you will find 2*-4* recipes. Several 2* are guaranteed, some 3*, and a minimum of two 4*. If you do a T3 run you are guaranteed several 4* recipes, and at least two 5*.
4* are easy to find as you can get them in both T2 and T3. 3* can only be found in T2... how many people actively farm T2? Not a whole bunch, at least not the T3 players for the most part. T3 is the only place that offers the 5* recipes, which again are harder to come by.
It is simply a case of supply being higher then the demand.

It's not that there is an abundance of Silversix recipes, its a shortage of Twisted Targe Recipes.
Look at the price of the Barbarous Thorn Shield. Last I checked, they were close 60k per. The Bristling Buckler line is in higher demand than the Antigua lines, mainly because there are more Swordsman than gunners.
Well, this gives Tier 2 players a way to make crowns more easily. I remember when people were freaking out about that Basil would be useless and that people couldn't make cr from selling recipes anymore, but I guess the higher price will help to make up for the fewer number of recipes wanted.
Capitalism!
