The wep changes are all nice and all, but I dislike spur changes.

The uniqueness of Spur was honestly (at least to me) how you move with every slash. It made for a fast, "nimble" weapon, and was partially the reason why I made arc razor for Lockdown.

Now it's like asi max++ calibur with less damage and a different charge. And the charge is still broken: Try holding shield after releasing the attack key once it's charged. You will probably realise you execute the slash and then shield cancel the projectile. It's kinda annoying, especially with it's 1-2sec pause before slashing. Why not make it avenger style? Bullet flies out after a while, 180degree slash and what not. Though it may or may not be my problem as I have bad latency (which can cause the entire bullet to fly through enemies without hitting them when on my screen it APPEARS to hit them; think of it like hitboxes and stuff in Lockdown, which is the best example of how latency ruins the game).

Personally as a Spur fan I'm disappointed that this unique sword is now a modified calibur, with the extra speed and stuff. And I'm not talking about winmillion here, it's about its non projectile shooting 2 and 3* counterparts.

At this rate I should just take out my arc razor from my LD loadout and make it into winmillion for the sake of getting a unique sword. Personally I thought the spur was fine as it was, just had broken slash hitboxes. And the charge is still ruined as always so no comment on that.

My question:
A. Should I still keep it for LD? Is its toothpick speed calibur style worth it? Or should I make it into winmillion(for the sake of a unique weapon)?
B. What is YOUR opinion? (I know spur is hated and considered useless and crap but I'm a spur fan :x)

The changes "to bring inline with other swords" killed its uniqueness. I used to use the Arc Razor as my Recon buster in T2 LD. Its wide arc & even its step with each swing made it great for this.

I do like the new charge attack better, but that is irrelevant seeing as I will no longer use the bloody thing due to the normal attack changes.

RIP Arc Razor. You are dead to me.

I don't see how the update

I don't see how the update was BAD for winmillion. Besides, the shield cancel bug it had was there for a long time now, not just a day or two.

i hate the changes

ugh, i hate to say that now, you should only get a spur if you REALLY want a winmillion. Don't get me wrong though, its still my favorite weapon.

@ Batabii

Did you use the Spur (or part of its line) on any sort of regular basis before the update?

Yeah, frankly, the movement

Yeah, frankly, the movement with the first strike was the only thing that made the spur line good, especially since we have no 5* version. I'm of the opinion that either we get an update with a 5* version, or we get back our first strike impulse.
I had just gotten my winmillion, but now I too, am dissapoint.

The greatest Winmillion fan laments over this...

I hate it when people say that the spur still has its lunges in the 2nd and 3rd attack, every single sword in the game, even the heavy ones, move forward after the first hit. The thing is, the slight increase to the lunge 2nd and 3rd swipe isn't really noticeable, neither is the larger hitbox on the third hit.
