where is a good safe free place to make a free spiral knights guild forum?

A while back I had the idea that I could place a string for our guild here and that maybe through respect and consideration we could keep it relatively private even though others could clearly see our guilds activity, (polite lurkers welcome sort of deal) however I was proven rather wrong.

So what is a good list of reliable free and SAFE sites that could be used to host a guild board?
Also if you could please show some evidence of the boards being safe rather then just giving me a random link to click on it would be most appreciated.

I emphasize safe most because a lot of free forums and other so called hosting sites actually use anything you post on it to research you so they can spam you email with adds you might buy or some of them even out right plant viruses and spyware.

Currently I have two obnoxious (and filthy) chat bots that are always trying to talk with me on my msn and I have had a few "adult art" magazine subscription offers on my yahoo. (also ick)

By far though the most interesting email is one I have not decided if I should open or not, it looks rather legit and seems to come from the bank alerting me of suspicious activity...... except I don't use or even have online banking, not to mention according to the source it comes from the uk, (is American)

The only reason I have not deleted it yet is I am not sure it might have something to do with the gift card I used to fill my steam to purchase the extension pass and some other goodies.

The last thing I might say is the sooner the better, I really would like our guild to have a board, especially since I have some ideas I want to test, who knows, maybe its best our board be located somewhere the spiral admins cannot see what some of my musings are anyways.

Heres a low budget solution

Lately, all the guilds i know of have transitioned to using facebook pages for their discussions and interactions.

Its easy to setup and requires no resource.
Benefits include
notifications
mobile access
A somewhat clear way of viewing who is active and who is not.
a way to stay friends with past players.

one of the few negative points is the lack of post classifications.
Which may or may not be a big deal depending on the scale of your guild.

Alternatively, g+ works too but i am not too familiar with g+.
