I've seen a lot of gremlins before but I can't seem to find this type. Do Ghostmane Stalkers even exist and if so where?

They're only found in the Crimson Hammer expansion, which is probably why you haven't seen them.
The expansion is P2P only *ahem* sorry, tradeable for CE if you have Steam.
If you're not on Steam, though, tough luck. You're not going to be able to have the dubious pleasure of meeting Recon ninja gremlins.

While I do have the DLC, I really think OOO should add the ninja gremlins to regular clockworks. They would be a great addition. Maybe not right now, but in the near future. It wouldn't take away from the DLC too much, since you still get the awesome weapons from the DLC and that would be worth the cost (in CE). 2 5* weapons would cost ~4.4kce to craft, so trading for them via steam is actually cheaper if you want both. Also, there would still be the boss fight and masks as incentive to do the DLC.

Fun fact: the T1 mortafires
Fun fact: the T1 mortafires are actually a different mob from the T2-3 ones, where the T1 mortafires are the normal base model are the T2-3 ones are the fire status ones. I think its safe to say that if they went out of their way to make a specific status one, there might be more status mortafires hiding somewhere, lying in wait for their unsuspecting prey.
