While playing Operation Crimson Hammer on Tier 2 earlier with Gentlemancreeper, some serious lag issues occured due to what I assume is the CE server being incredibly slow. He died, so I used energy to revive him and... nothing. He had no option to revive himself - either by paying himself or by my payment. Then I died, he sent off a support ticket and got a "not online" message from Hyperion, leaving us to our own problems. Great, game broken and the game masters won't actually help us. Fair enough, they can't be on 24/7, but if one can't get to us surely others can? But after a little while (approx. 3 minutes) the revive FINALLY went through, and he stood up, then pulled me up. We played a bit more, got Seerus down on the battlefield a second time, and both ended up dead again. At a loss of CE, creeper went to purchase some more, and spent 12k on 0CE, and as a result we were autokicked from the level.
At this point, were it not against forum rules, I would swear. I didn't even bother waiting to get back to Haven before I closed the game down, as this is incredibly unfair.

Well, explain what happened then. This has never, ever happened before, but I'm blaming lag on this mostly.
Why message just Hyperion instead of submitting an ingame support request that any GM can attend?
That was your dumbest mistake. Obviously Hyperion cant work 24/7 and thats why there are lots of GMs.
I sent 2 of them, and Hyperion answered to both. No other GM has answered.
At rangerwill, I did say in the opening sentence "I assume". I have no idea if a CE server actually exists but it's what it seems like to me. I guessed, and I never said I didn't.
Also, he did send a support ticket. If we had messaged only Hyperion we wouldn't have gotten the "I am offline" message from the first ticket, because he'd have been offline and unable to respond to say so.
What you are describing is massive lag. Could have been server lag or any number of factors. I see bad server lag on occasion and I know I'm not the only one experiencing it.
crap happens and the software isn't perfect. OOO should refund you your 12kcr if you didn't get any CE in return if you file a proper support ticket. I once lost 1kcr and probably 20ce trying to go down a T3 elevator from d18 to d19. I sent in a support ticket and asked if there was anything they could do, and OOO sent me a mini-mist tank in return.
So yea, you'll be out 10ce for the last elevator to the boss and whatever CE you used to revive at the boss, but outside of that you got your "monies" worth (entertainment, cr, heat, mats).
Does it suck, yea, but unless you were blowing 100's of CE on revs (which would be stupid) it isn't that big of a deal.
But the fight was going fine, I even had 3 bars! Which is considerably better than the 2 I'm used to playing with. Physical hits were fine, everything was fine except reviving and CE purchase. I did get my CE back, after logging in and out.
I've been having problems lately, as earlier I had some problems with Toy Soldiers, at the end. And now this. I've sent 2 requests on this, since on the first one Hyperion said I was offline, and at the time of this post, no reply on the 2nd one is present. This is incredibly frustrating for both of us, as we deeply enjoy this game, and this money was going for us going deeper into the game.
EDIT:
Hyperion replied after a long delay with a sub-par solution equivalent to restarting Word in the middle of an essay just to enable saving, resulting in my CE being (eventually) returned. Doesn't change that we lost against Seerus because of the bug. Doesn't change that we lost our money both from the level and from Alfie's (now lost) CE purchase. Doesn't change the fact it shouldn't happen.
