Anyone else getting crippling lag for no apparent reason?
No other games have been lagging, and my internet seems as good as ever. But I'm getting crazy lag spikes, with eveyrthing freezing in excess of 30 seconds to a minute. Earlier, before the unexpected system reboot, I was perfectly fine.
I didn't get on for a while, but now that I'm on I can't get through a level due to lag.
Cant say my ISP gets me a stable 4 bars in the US either (no matter how good they CLAIM to be :P)
Anyway, all Ive noticed is my computer slowing on the internet by about 10 seconds during load up. (which is longer than instantaneous browsing websites)
Probably just random stuff that you cant fix.
yes, the game is pretty much unplayable, takes nearly 5 minutes to log into game, and when picking up a potion or something, you can run over the potion and you never pick it up for 15-20 seconds

Yeah, game's pretty borked right now. Weird bouts of lag with players and monsters walking off the level and a loading screen staying at 0% for 15+ minutes, etc.

ive been getting awful lag aswell :L lots of framerate....
its so bad that everything just halted, everyone could see me typing even my gf who is on the exact same LAN as me so i know its not my net. then after about 3 mins give or take a few. i went from alive, to dead, to alive, ported across teh screen and one dude was like teach me how to teleport like that cause them are some mad skills lol. kinda funny im just getting dragged along to try and revive when they die cause they are getting same lags at different times.
Yes, it's horrible. Although apparently not for everyone, but for quite a few. also even the forums seem much slower than normal. I'm hoping the next reboot fixes the problem this last reboot made.
WTF is happening with SK servers it takes me like 3 mins to logg into haven and i skipp frames all the time cant even or people going through walls wth is happening
Ok. So i was lagging terribly on my steam account. I decided the play as my regular account. Website game wouldn't launch, so I download it. I end up launching the steam and regular. Go onto the steam account. ZERO LAG. As soon as I turn of the non steam version, lag again. I don't know if this will work for everyone but... Try it at least, if your a steam user.
Takes several minutes to log in and enter the Ready Room.
When entering Haven, a black screen hangs before loading for a significantly long time, lasting up to several minutes.
I also get 2 bars instead of my usual 3 bars when roaming around Haven.
It's strange. I'm not getting any more lag than usual but everyone I have run with today is getting game-breaking lag.
The lag on SK is even worse than usual! I didn't know it was physically possible!
Maybe now they'll do something about it...
I DCed randomly, like no indication that I had DCed, just smacking a Gun Puppy and suddenly popped up that I had DCed.
Reconnected to a dead me. :/
I was doing a fsc run to test a guildee for his member test, and I was doing fine, til in the final room of black stone bridge, I spontaneously burst into flames! O.O Apparantly the server lagged for a split second, relocated me on a darkfire patch, then thought "oops fix that' and put me back on the spot where i was. All in a split second! D= I had four bars at the time. (i normally always do). In the end I died.
I just did a jelly run where I could barely see any damage numbers, and stuff would die a second after I had actually killed it, and jellies were flying off the map.
I don't think the lag is that bad.

Amazon runs the Spiral Knights servers. If anything, blame them.

Man, my connection was fine. But playing through Bosses, grrrr.............LAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't know why.............

I thought it could just be my connection, but everything else but the game runs fine. I would be running away from a bunch of enemies one sec, then suddenly i'm in the middle of them. Died several times because of the jumping around in the middle of a mission. DX

used to be able to run all sorts of things while playing sk; youtube, photoshop, even surfing the web with me idle in haven, but now, even if i was to click off my client and onto my desktop, it'd take an eternity just to return to the game... dunno whats up, but because of this i refuse to go into the clockworks and do alittle crowd control...
I get like really bad bad lag when I play LD sometimes
well, apparently today's server reboot was to help reduce that lag.
But since im always on 1-2 bars of connection, I didnt notice much difference.
