I was talking on Ventrilo while at HoH and i was holding down left Crtl. I was buying a Chroma mask rec, and i did not notice that, i was buying 10 at once, until i noticed i was out 50kCr (also bought a Virlusk rec). It was then i realized I had bought 10 Chroma Mask recs. Now i only need one, i can't "learn" it again, the recipies are bound, so i couldn't put them up at AH and get ANY profit back. The only thing i could do is sell them to a vendor for 10cr each.

So what i'm suggesting is, if we already "know" the recipe, can there be some "lock" feature that prevents us from buying the recipies we already have? In my case this was (some)a fault on my part, but it has also happened before where i get mixed up, and buy a recipie i already know, and i ment to buy another one. This really sucks, so can we "lock" it, or at least take away the bound from the recipies?

Erm...

It says in the shop when you scroll over a recipe if it's known or not. There'll be italic/emboldened white letters that say "Known Recipe".

It would make sense to limit each recipe to 1 purchase per visit though...no reason to ever buy more than that.

At a latter point in the game, most people will have trouble organizing those lots of recipes, especially now with missions giving loads of them for free (basically). So, either lock it, or tell us, by a message box, if the recipe being bought is repeated or not.

IF its message box, GIVE US DAMN ABILITY TO TURN IF OFF in settings menu. No point to annoy normal players even more by stupid popup questions and safety measurements because some players cant focus on game, they dont control their movements, they dont pay attention to what they do or simply they cant understand how game works and what it tells to them.

Yeah, the OP could have prevented this by being more careful--but why should we be able to buy multiple HoH recs in the first place? Where a simple change would protect players from their own carelessness, at no cost to anyone, then it should be done.

This is why the missions and HoH suck

Personally i want to be refunded 25k Crowns for my purchase of the Leviathan Blade recipe. Why is this?
I bought this recipe waaay back and now we can just get it for free via missions?
Also why did they bother putting a vendor in the HoH that sells the Cobalt, Calibur, etc etc line equipment? We just get it for free via missions anyway.
