Why do you remove players from your friends list?

Question is simple.
For me, I remove players from my friends list if I'm being spammed invites over and over again without a single message saying why they need help or what the monsters are.
I remove "friends" when they constantly ask me for Crowns or Crystal Energy and then proceed to use pathetic verbal assaults when i do not fulfill their needs.
Those are the two main reasons i remove "friends", I can not think of any other reasons right now.

Now I would like to know your reasons for removing "friends".
Also if you do not agree with my reasons and you think they are unfair or unjust, then go ahead and enlighten me.

Note-This is not a rant, nor do I want you to name players.

Inactivity mostly, if you

Inactivity mostly, if you have not been on for a month or more when I decide I need spots opened then you're gone.

why i remove people

several reasons, the main one being inactive, or i haven't spoken to them in so long i forget who they are.

Other reasons include: Random invites that end up in me showing up amongst corpses and being begged for revs, or being sent messages begging for invites to my FSC runs when the party is obviously full, then being asked to kick one of my party so they can join. Yeah. That happened.

I have 250 "friends" in SK.

I have 250 "friends" in SK. People are still sending me requests. I've deleted inactives like 20 times, and if I want you friended, I've got to make room.

for the reasons above, and...

I never accept an invite from anyone unless I know they are not dead or we've talked before I receive the invite. I also delete friends for inviting me to their party when I'm already playing or doing a mission.

Inactivity if the person in question hasn't been on for months, spamming me with random invites for no reason (especially when you can clearly see that I'm in a run already), or always bugging for invites and getting mad when I say that the spots are reserved or some such.

I don't keep an eye on my friend's list, so I don't bother removing people often.

careful who you choose

I'm rather leery of just accepting friend requests, I only accept them if I know the person in person, or if I had a run or a few I really enjoyed with them. So the main reason that I would delete a friend is that I forget who they are. But of course, if they spam me or be a jerk in other ways, off they go. I like to keep a hardcore friends list.

Three reasons.

First is inactivity. This was the cause of my largest purge, where I wiped every single one of my Steam friends from the list because they hadn't been on since the "Son of a Nutcracker" achievement had been offered. Wish they'd spend a little more time here, but whatever. Occasionally it also happens to other people not connected with Steam.

Second reason is they've annoyed me in some fashion. This hasn't happened yet, fortunately.

Third reason is the most subtle: deleting friends I somehow acquired despite not having done a run with them and having limited to no chance of doing so in the future. Emily, the Knightmare XO, falls into this last category. She's a nice person, but we don't exactly hang around each other, and there's no reason for me to keep getting patched into her Haven instance.

All this taken into account leaves me with 5 friends that I can count on to be reliable, friendly, and skilled. Considering Kage no Senshi bumps that number to 105, I'm fine as is.

When they forget that I don't

When they forget that I don't speak their first language. Its a bit awkward when they start speaking to me in Spanish or German and I cant understand what they're saying.

Beautiful.

Inactivity is a big one. Another one is like the OP stated, invites to parties without asking or telling me first. And no, that doesn't mean /tell-ing me "HALP I DED" and then inviting me, expecting me to revive you. It's even worse when I'm invited in the middle of a run. Why would I abandon my fun Vanaduke run with my guildmates and friends to be invited to Depth 16 on Jelly King right before the elevator; and the entire team is people in 2* Cobalt gear they got from their mission rewards.

Beggars are also a problem. Another thing is when I give mats (below 3*) to randoms who need them. They have the urge to just shoot a friend invite, which gives me the idea they expect that I'll give them more free stuff.

At this point though, I just don't accept friend invites unless I know I'll be socializing with the person. OFTEN.

Mostly inactivity. I do

Mostly inactivity.

I do sometimes remove people from my list when i finish transaction with them (i friend them to see if they are on line and inform them about current bid in auctions).

Once in my SK adventure i removed one person since he made me extremly angry, multiple times he invited me just to rev him without telling me or lying to me.

Some days

Some days when I'm in a bad mood I just delete my entire list, on rare occasion I might keep someone who's been useful. But mostly I just get sick of 'em all.

Clean slate, clean mind.

Small lists are for me

I like to keep my list small and consisting of people that I actively chat or run with, or who are members of the forum rp I'm in. If for some reason you have friended meu and you don't fall into one of these categories after awhile, then you're gone.

30 days is my cutoff. If

30 days is my cutoff. If you're not going to play for 30 days, you're practically dead by SK standards. Hell, I persoanlly have never gone even one week since I started.

As for adding. I really hate people who just spam friend invites with no explanation. I absolutely refuse to accept any invites I get from outside of the clockworks. It's almost as bad as random Trade Requests. I usually only add people once I've seen they're competent in battle AND in conversation. And if they don't have voice chat enabled, forget it.
