People talking about a new Teir 3 boss or sumthin with Katz. Well look at this, there seems to be 2 new monsters added in the Kat family. :o!

Take a look for yourself. Just scroll down till ya see 2 monsters without description http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Kat

The 2 new ones appear to be a Black Kat and a Cattywampus lol @ name

I found this when I found a Mewkat today, I was bit curious about it and look up "Kat" On the wiki and I scrolled down saw those 2 monsters without image or description. Then when i scrolled down more I found a the mewkat. It dropped a gold coin when i killed it >:3 & I recorded it.

Anyways... I am curious about teh two other kats that appear in the wiki.

And how can we be sure that this wasn't done with the specific intention of spreading rumors? Seems a bit strange to me that these would just pop up on the Wiki out of nowhere. Plus, everyone knows that "Cattywampus" should be spelled with a K and not a C.

They didnt. Theyve been there almost since the Kat page's creation. Preview leftovers maybe? Were they ever in the game?

Those entries have been there for ages. I remember seeing them long ago when looking at enemy types.

I haven't been around long enough to say from my experience if they're a carry-over from before release or if they represent something not-yet-released, but the entries aren't new at all.

well i went digging in the game files and indeed the "black kat" (not real name but likey just model name) is still in there alongside beta versions of spookat, hurkat, and bloogato. statikat and pepperkat weren't in yet apparently? Looking at "black kat" it's model (well textures really) seems to have been recycled into pepperkat just with the dark purple color and dark aura/ and "curse" ring around it... replaced by fire colors and the fire effect. I doubt "black kat" will return.

i couldnt find a second unused kat model though, so cattywampus may be bogus, unless anyone rembers what it was.
