Can someone confirm this?

If anyone is wondering why, there is some forum bug I think where you have to change your identity knight sometimes in order to post.
The incident I had was not in-game, it was IRL.

On one hand, once a knight has been deleted, I don't think that it's necessarily wrong for the name to be made available again. On the other, it is quite confusing, especially for forum-goers and friends of the original person.
Has the new Rangerwill claimed that they're the original Rangerwill? That would be like identify theft, except it's, you know, a game. :/ I wonder if a case of a well-known person deleting their character and then the name gets taken by a newbie without realizing has happened before...
