Background: There are two things in this world that Tibek loves: fire and metal. While his true passion lies in welding, he's a cantankerous enough guy to be perfectly satisfied burning people's faces off with his torch if that's what gets the job done. A confirmed bachelor, Tibek is a bit on the older side of your average gremlin Clockworks worker. He's a bit slow for it, but he figures that if you're shooting a jet of flame at something, they're probably going to be running away from you rather than toward you.

The only family he has left is a youngish cousin, who recently took a mate and is expecting her first little gremlin. He doesn't visit her often, more because he forgets than because he dislikes doing so; they've never been truly close, but they get along fine. His neighbors and co-workers usually find him to be gruff, grumpy, and likely to speak in the shortest sentences possible to get his point across. Gremlins who talk too much annoy him; he prefers those who DO things. He doesn't mind children, but pretends to.
