When, suddenly, this happened. And this.

Grimalkins no longer fear the light. No one is safe.

Your desktop has got me

Your desktop has got me straight trippin' balls.

I have occasionally had a Grimalkin prove immune to the candles, much like Snarb often disregarding the bell entirely.

It is exceptionally colorful

It is exceptionally colorful and psychedelic.

Tripping Balls is a common euphemism for "experiencing wild and vivid colors/hallucinations due to drug use".

Gwah!
You have the exact same desktop background as me!
<3 foreverlove.

And yes.
This one time, we were at the elevator in candlestick.
Two blue candles were closely together at both sides, almost touching each other.
And then out of nowhere a grimalkin emerged from the intersection of the two candles and snapped at me, taking advantage of my shock and killed me right then and there. If if wasn't for my party members chuckling and reviving me afterwards I'd be a very upset knight to say the least lol.

I wonder if they are growing immune to the stimuli emitted from the candles!

Evning suggestion was right!

"Grimalkins
lots of them,
Spawn them all over haven and in every level of the clockworks
Their sheer numbers would be unavoidable."

They will first resist light. Then escape from the CK skydomes into and onto Cradle.....

What black magic is this?

I've had a bug like this. In my situation, all normal candles were fine. However, all unlit blue candles were shown as if they were lit. So I would walk into what I assume is a safe area of light but later find out that it's some kind of dark magic illusion and that I'd need to throw an ember at what looks like an already lit candle. Nasty tricksters those Kats.

I have seen this bug

In Candlestick Keep, I have been standing right next to a lit candle --- as in, I cannot move any closer to it --- and have been bitten by a Grimalkin. There seems to be a bug in their light interaction, I agree. I first noticed it a week ago.

I think...

My friend once ran into this problem.

I suggested he throw another fireball at the affected candles. It worked fine after that.

And client screenshots save to desktop.
